FIFA World Cup 2026

So, for those in Dallas for the ENG-CRO game:

The "spoon" thumbtack is Hurtado's BBQ. Best brisket and burnt ends you can get. From there you can walk to AT&T Stadium aka Dallas Stadium (though in Arlington!).

If you're from overseas, a pop into Walmart.

I know this area like the back of my hand.

Ronaldo just get it off even when he had 2-3 good chances for Portugal

when you rely on passes inside the box as your only way to score without going 1-1 with defenders or dribbling like Messi you aren't going to get many goals

Penalties, Free kicks and headers from corners maybe

but not 20-30 yard runs from mid field to the box and shooting , this days are long over

Messi always had centre of gravity due to low height , better turns better dribbling short touches

Ronaldo was very much explosive acceleration , step overs, long range and run arounds

as you age Ronaldo abilities have faded faster than Messi

Portugal really looked unconvincing to me in the first game. Spain at least controlled the match and imposed their style.
How do you figure? A 10-island nation with a population of approximately 550K achieved a draw.

Spain will have to make an impressive showing when they play the Saudis on Sunday.

World Cup attendance figures have been very good, contrary to the fears expressed before the tournament.

Also European teams are complaining about the pitch and blaming it for lack of goals.

Spain missed some really good chances to finish, but their overall approach and control in possession were noticeably cleaner and more structured than Portugal's. Still, I wouldn't be surprised if Spain fraud their way into the KOs with a couple of scrappy goals somehow. Honestly, sometimes one scrappy goal is all it takes to force those low-block teams to open up.

Typical. England are fast becoming like Tottenham Hotspur. Constantly flatter to deceive.

This is where Tuchel will realise leaving Palmer and Foden back was the worst mistake of his career.

Stupid rules in soccer.
The first penalty was saved! yet they give them another. Thats BS.
Clearly doing best to help Eng win!!

What "fight"??

I saw two girls breaking half a finger nail on each other's handbags.
Alcohol plays a big role in pre game/ post game fan behavior.
