To the credit of the English, they have improved massively compared to the much overrated "Golden Generation" of the past who did not achieve anything in World Cups or EURO's despite all the hype. Even though England did not win anything yet, take a look at their tournament results since 2018. It is like day and night.

They have a very strong squad and can beat anyone on a good day. Especially with a healthy Kane that is having the season of his life.

I know from Arab-British acquaintances and distant relatives in London, that the young lot are now no longer making fun of the national team.
