No they would still be mathematically in it.

Even the 3rd place team may qualify, so if South Africa beat South Korea in the last game and South Korea also lose to Mexico, South Africa could sneak into 3rd place.

In fact, Czechia still have to play Mexico so if Mexico will all 3 of their games and everyone else wins 1 each, then Mexico end on 9pts and everyone else on 3pts, so goal difference would determine 2nd and 3rd place.

Now as I understand it, the 2 drinks breaks (extra time outs specifically for this world cup that don't exist in standard rules) will still be applicable, even when climatic conditions are moderate.

Many are screaming foul play about these time outs because they are being misused (I.e. as tactical time outs to halt the momentum of a team in the ascendancy and simultaneously giving a team on the back foot a chance to reorganise).
