If Egypt win today, they're guaranteed 3rd spot (at least). Belgium and Iran both winning the final games would leave Egypt 3rd. Technically that isn't an assurance of qualification (only best 8 3rd placers qualify), so they would still likely come out strong against Iran next week.

What's there to complain about? We deserved to win this match.

We didn't make the most of playing against 10 men. Beiranvand saved us. We barely created any good chances in the second half. But it is still a good point against a good opponent.

Lukaku has played less than 180 minutes this season. He has been injured all season for Napoli. Old and past it as well Same thing with De Bruyne (35 years old). Outside of Courtois in goal they have barely any world class players anymore.

Tielemans and Trossard are probably the only ones that are somewhat good. A shadow of the team they were once. Their so-called golden generation with Hazard, Kompany, prime De Bruyne and Lukaku etc.

Spain are a better team on every single position. Even Spain's second string players are better. Only Courtois would have a chance of starting for Spain.

Doku (their best offensive player) was a huge miss for Belgium.

That Iranian goalkeeper earned them a point in this game.

I would be very shocked to see this Belgium team, if they advance from the group, go far in the tournament.

Neighboring Netherlands have looked so much better and have a far superior team on paper as well IMO.

My 2 main favorites remain Spain and France. Best teams on paper at least.

The offside rule has become ridiculous. I don't get why body parts that play no role in the game should outrule a goal. If anything, football needs more goals, not fewer.
