Norway ahead.:ROFLMAO: As I predicted, had a feeling that Brazil could get eliminated tonight. Haaland with the goal of course. 61 goals in 54 games for Norway is pure madness. Such statistics belong to a bygone era in football seen from some players 100 + years ago. Not today.

Norway is the only team that Brazil has NEVER defeated. Beyond absurd statistic because Norway has not played in a World Cup more than 4 times, this one included.

Norway is going to erupt tonight if they advance. Beautiful country.

England could actually end up playing in the final if they defeat Mexico tonight. They would have to be considered the favourites against this Norway team. Afterwards, they would likely face Argentina in the semi-final. Argentina are not as strong as they were four years ago, so England could win that game and qualify for the final.

France vs. England would be interesting, given that they are historical arch-rivals who fought numerous bloody wars throughout history. Alternatively, we could see a repeat of Spain vs. England (also historical rivals). Two years ago, England lost to Spain in the EURO final.

I am not even counting Portugal here, as I hope Spain will knock them out tomorrow. Either that, or France will do the job.

62 goals in 54 games for Haaland so far while playing for Norway. Has there been a player in international football with better goal statistics than this guy in international football (modern football)? I don't think so.

Haaland has scored 7 goals in 4 games for Norway during this World Cup. His first ever international tournament for Norway.

He is not the best footballer in the world at all but he might be the best goalscorer.

England are strong, Tuchel is a great manager and Kane is red hot. Stranger things have happened and after 60 years of waiting, England could actually qualify for the final and maybe even win.

I would not be surprised. I had England as my dark horse before the tournament along with Norway and Netherlands (who flopped due to Koeman's typical cowardliness as a manager - too defensively minded).

But of course the likeliness of either France, Spain or Argentina winning is bigger but England is not that far behind at all IMO.

BTW Haaland was born in Leeds during the time when his father played for Leeds United.:ROFLMAO:

Leeds had a brilliant team in the late 1990's and early 2000's. The era were I started following football as a small child. I still remember Viduka, Kewell, Ferdinand, Radebe, Harte, Bowyer, Fowler, Smith etc. and those Leeds fans that were murdered (stabbed to death) by Galatasaray fans in Istanbul.
