But I will say this much, exactly as I said for the Egy - Arg game....

Despite that obvious injustice, England did not deserve to win this game. Simple as that really.

Argentina loves to play small ball. They are doing footwork and short passes to create opportunities. If you are just going to stack your defender inside your penalty area, they are going to try to make plays and shoot you outside the 18-yard box, which is what Argentina did. Both goals were either direct shots or opportunities created by range shots from outside the box.

It's okay to play preventive defense for England, but you don't play it inside your 18-yard box with Argentina; you need to control and contain the midfield. And the English didn't do that, said that during the game with Egypt. And also during the Belgium and Senegal game, it has now happened for the 3rd time.

To clarify, I mean he brought his attackers on when they could no longer influence the game (rashhford and toney). You're right he made 2 defensive subs much too early in the game. And paid the price for stupid negative tactics.

Yeah, Argentina plays a lot better than England, the best England game is against Mexico, and they never got back to that level.

And to be honest, England win over Norway is again because of the ref didn't catch that ball hit the wire (Which should have been a deadball) and crawl back from a 1 - 0 deficit, and this time, well, call it karma or whatever, the same happen to them, just they drew the short end of a stick as Messi is offside, and the first goal shouldn't count.

Brother , England were doing nothing before than. They scored on a bad giveaway by Argentine . They could not create anything really, so it was logical to sit back. Cant blame Tuchel.

This is also true. I don't even know if England can beat France in the 3/4 playoff! Embarrassing performance today. Even before any goal was scored, Argentina had control of the midfield. England seem to have ONE tactic, to be praying for a quick counter attack goal and then park the bus. Wtf!
