The only exception I saw was Hunza. That place was spotless.

Faisal masjid was also disgraceful. Litter in the wudu areas, muddy sandals everywhere making the floor dirty. People treating it like a tourist resort not a masjid.

Go to Chechian, Khari Sharif, spotless. MashaAllah they make a big effort there.

There is no cleanliness in Pakistan. Zero. I can count on my fingers the few posh areas of Islamabad/Lahore/Karachi and the odd cantonment.

Pakistan as a whole has ugly ass public areas. Even the most posh streets in Islamabad and Lahore don't have that international vibe.


Cleanliness tou hay hi nahi, aesthetics bhi 0 hay. Yes 99% of the fault lies on the authorities but there is no concept of 'owning' public spaces. This is why you'll often see a nice house in a posh area and then a trash heap in the empty plot next to it.

In Japan you hardly see bins as everyone takes their rubbish with them, yet here, bins provided they can't be bothered.
Bring out enforcement police and start to fine and arrest people. Throw them in prison, once this has happened a few thousand times people will learn.

When the bottle has coke in it, or the packet has crisps in it, or the wrapper has chocolate in it - it's pure. The moment you consume the contents, it becomes impure.

Its not only babusar top…. Jahaz Banda and katora used to be very remote area taking hours of trekking to reach.. once filth saw this opportunity they f*cked up that as well…. We really don’t deserve these places..

Agree on this point. There is little concept of aesthetics in Pakistani architecture. Drive on the highway between Peshawar and Islamabad and all the newly built towns and housing societies are carbon copies of each other. Big ugly square or rectangle shaped buildings. Same ugly house designs. No accent, no shape, no reliefs, no use of material for decoration.

Even Communist brutalist architecture looks better.

Maybe ask the KPK government and PTI supporters to do something about it, after all it's their AOR. People should be rightfully blamed but where is the so called democratic PTI and it's performance?

You can not put everything on governments. Not following traffic rules, lack of cleanliness, and patience is something that pakistanis are fond of. I know government should implement some form of punishment for throwing waste there but then its a mountain top. You can not ensure 24/7 survailence there. People need to realize this is bad and people need to change their habbits (for whole pakistan).
