UAE isn't the only country that has direct air service to and from Israel. They may have the most flights, but they aren't alone.

Smit Machcchar, the pilot, should rightfully be commended. Hoping "news outlets" don't try to deter/credit his character and experience solely due to his nationality.

That said, I'm not much of a conspiracy theorist, but having the Israeli "hero" who saved the aircraft (from the free-fall) meet directly with Netanyahu right after returning to Israel, and to not even have him change his blood-stained clothes? You're just giving conspiracy theorists ammunition.
