Ddos attacks today? Just finally got on.

Forum was offline for quite some time today. Another cyberattack or just maintenance issue ?

But I sure am glad PDF is back !!!

Looked like cyber as it was not respomding.

Hard work from the admin team have got us on bro.

For some one or group to want to stop discussions on this forum shows that despite our weaknesses where we can say bad things, post off topic or sound like loonies, there are some decent discussions that are not liked simply because we can freely express (to a degree) here.

So a thank you to the mod team to get things up and running again.

Website storage resources have run out. I am in Portugal so I can’t even access my dashboard… So after spending a day out, I was able to phone my hosting company and resolve the issue after long discussion.

I will find a solution when I am back

No DDoS… just ran out of storage as we allow 8mb file for each attachment and members post too many rubbish images that they could have hosted elsewhere leading to very high volume of attachments on this forum that may stay forever.

Thanks for the effort. Might be time to have a purge policy, or add other restrictions.

Can there be a daily quota put on how many MB of images a member can upload ? It will encourage members to be more judicious.

Since I cannot DM you, I just wanted to say, that :

1 - if you can, do go to "Porto" -> https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Porto .. It is considered by the locals and all as the "real Portugal", it is a day trip, boat rides are good. Very chilled and different from Lisboa.

2 - The castle in the centre of Lisboa is cool - you can see the whole of Lisbon from there : https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/São_Jorge_Castle

3 - There is also the Moorish Castle in Portugal : https://www.parquesdesintra.pt/en/parks-monuments/the-moorish-castle/

4 - The Avenida Marginal (EN6) drive between Lisboa, and Cascais is the most dangerous road in Europe, and also a beautiful beautiful drive!! Recommend it, just keep you wits about you on the drive.

Most of this generic so hopefully you don't mind it being in the open!

I am sure you had a inventory before you left to go there, so I will leave you to it !!!

I was in Portugal last December, a week hiking in Madeira (fabulous landscape) and a few days in Lisbon and Port0. Fell in love with Porto, food is delicious, as is the port wine, a tour of the vineyards in the Douro valley is a must if you like that sort of thing.

I think its your browser issue. If you can tell me more about it, i might be able to help. A screenshot might be helpful. Also, which browser do you use?
