Good job by the admins in swiftly recovering the forum with a backup copy. Since this forum is repeatedly attacked and on the target list, I would suggest taking a copy every 3 or 6 hours, if affordable.

A Disaster Recovery site that is constantly updated is also an option, thats how it would be setup in a Corporate environment, but that might be overkill for an online forum.

imagine admins restored the website to an earlier saved version, explaining the lost posts.

Just type Arab Defense there you can find it through Google. It is in Arabic but I usually access it through my smart phone as I only want to read. It is in Arabic, but my phone can translate it automatically

I did press that button, sadly. Malwarebytes blocked the phishing attack. @Waz do you know what this blue button was about?

when you say a clearly hacked website that doesn't look like it should, in Russian language, with one button, you press it? lol
