Forget about the fact that there js too much latency in an AWACs data link to provide an accurate target data.

Also forget about the fact that the AWACs does not produce detailed enough resolution in track while scan mode to provide target resolution.

Just the fact that a Swedish AWACs was able to communicate to a Chinese missile that has been just recently acquired by Pakistan using Pakistan's own proprietary data link is just incredulous.

Ok, have it your way then, the PAF destroyed 6-8 IAF aircraft using their onboard radar alone, without the IAF aircraft ever knowing they were being targeted, let alone get off any missile in return.

one theory was that a Rafale was near its airfield, in a low speed and straight approach so the trajectory didn't need a high rate of refreshment, allowing an active seeker missile to have the enough range to hit it. It's plausible. But was it the truth, no one here knows.
