flares don't do jack against radar guided BVR missiles.

All depends how many PL-15 were fired at it !

For exemple the number of flares isn't illimited....

by the way, number of missiles is also limited..

if the IAF Rafale pilots were planning to dodge missiles fired hundreds of miles away with flares then I feel sorry for them.

PAF not only lied about true range of PL 15 in their use, they also lied that they can be dodged with flares.

I feel that Mr. BonPlan might be an authentic Frenchman, but he is perhaps pissed that his country's superstar product got easily shot down by China's second tier weaponry.

And I did member that Dassault was also initially pissed off and in denial of Rafale getting shot down, but eventually being forced to acknowledge it.
