The French have been marketing the Rafale as their national pride and most sophisticated fighter for many decades. In fact, the Europeans often parade it as their best fighter. Even better than the EF. It hurts them to admit that this happened. It has been a humiliation.

France can't escape the fact that the Rafale it is selling to certain nations will face action versus aircraft of adversaries. This will happen again. Keeping the Rafale hidden during exercises won't do any good.

I mean..., they just recieved the 1st Rafale earlier this year in April.

How many do you think they have (by now)?

Besides, even when we recieved out first batch of J-10c's..., everyone was like it will take a while before the new type is incorportated in the system.

PAF recieved the J-10's in ... 2022.

The first time it participated in an Excerise was at home, during Indus Shield - two years later in 2024.

Besides..., if France wanted to play spoiler with the whole JF-17 game - I doubt they would have had an issue with the Azeri ones just to keep India happy.

PAF has already gone up against the Rafales 3 times.

You are right, but the French are butthurt after investigating the downing of their Rafale fighters during Sindoor. The French probably don't want PAF to learn more about this aircraft. In reality, as you rightfully claim, PAF has already extensively flown against the Rafale. In fact, there are claims that Pakistani fighters have even actually flown the Rafale itself. This is just butthurt by the French and it makes sense after Sindoor. The French are pretending to be cautious.

For 20 years of service no Rafale downed but when very first time they face PAF their Rafale fell like dead birds. So who wants their national asset a prize asset got humiliated like that.

On top of it Rafale is earmarked for carrying nukes should the need arise....
