Actually, no.Declining economic fortunes, immigration, raging war on the continent has probably made Germans restless, angry and frustrated. Failure of the leftist parties or centrist coalition has probably laying the political mood for a strong but extremist to take over. Reminds us of a man with a moustache in 1940s.
The talking point in German politics is taxes and budget, they all have similar outlook on Policy with regard to War in Ukraine and Immigration (both CSU and SPD as well as FDP aligned on both subject) but it was the taxes that split them apart. CSU wanted to cut corporate tax, SPD want to raise transaction tax, while FDP wanted the Debt Brake gone.
There can never be mustache man scenario in Germany, they make it that no single party can win a majority in German election since both Germany reunited, the closest is when Merkel CDU/CSU won 41% of seat back in 2013.
