Getting Close To The End Of My Natural Life Span:---

Hi,

70 yrs old now---after 43 years---switched back to RIGHT HAND DRIVE---. Bought a Honda last month---drove to Islamabad from multan.

Driving in multan traffic---Khanewal Road---Bosab Rd---Nishtar Med college rd---boy---it ain't fun.

Took a trip to Skardu---. Allah be merciful---.
Even in Pakistan, Multan's traffic stands out as the worst. There are virtually no traffic manners, and almost nobody follows the rules. Driving on the correct side of the road feels like the exception rather than the norm. Seriously, in Multan you wouldn't even be able to tell whether Pakistan is a right-hand-drive or left-hand-drive country. People on the roads here are absolutely mad, and the road design is piss poor as well.

Hi,

Yessir---I can drive on any side of the road and hardly create any excitement amongst the drivers---because they are doing the same---.

Boy---the first few days were tough---actually---every day is tough---.

I bought a Honda City to start with---. Now---hopefully I will replace it with a Toyota Prado or a Landcruiser to drive to the high mountains---.

Find a young companion , you will feel like 40 years old .

Hi,

Most probably going to settle here---. Meetup is always good.
I have fond memories of Multan, my two Khalus retired from Army there. So i do visit the area often.

Keep us updated on your plans and hope it works out. Must be difficult adjusting, but your birth soil is yours. No matter what.

My dad even after travelling the world, building a career in the urban life and being CEO of some of the top companies in Pakistan, yearns of his childhood days spent near Irrigation Headworks (my Grand Dad was in irrigation department) and wants to finally live near one.:D

Good to see you at Bomanji Square in Gulgasht, my fellow Multani. Multan has indeed sprawled and the road infrastructure hasn’t keep up. Beware the speed bumps. They build them too high, leading to people on motorcycles flying off and losing their lives.

Also, hopefully your lifestyle modifications, weight loss, and early intervention has improved your health, so InshaAllah you have many more years to come.

Salam if budget isn't a constraint a small automatic 660 cc for city driving would be a great option as you told you are having trouble in city driving. If you wanted to add more ghee shakar then swift is an option as well...

The Parado/Land cruiser would be too much car...
