I have been saying this. Petrol should be 300 and diesel should be 200 per litre. It will help industry.

After 4 years of hard work, Pakistan is econimically at a point it was in 2022.

Not a good idea, I am afraid. It will boost imports and cause a pressure on fiscal and CAD position. Pakistan has a good story going on solar side and all encouragement should be given to the industry to move to electric power, using captive renewables and battery storage. Cheap fuel will be a step backwards.

Current petrol proces is less than 300. As well as diesel. Diesel is main fuel for industry and national logistics. So I am recommending profits of diesel to be generated from petrol instead so that diesel can be cheaper.
