Gun violence & Hate crime in the United States - Sticky

hey welcome to our club of being stereotyped as terrorists ... how does it feel?
Doesn't bother me. Given I own firearms and am a member of the NRA, somewhere someone believes I'm a terrorist.

You can't fix gun problems by putting more guns in the hands of fragile humans, we have seen changes in countries like Australia/NZ and other countries with proven data that gun control and stricter gun laws actually works in reducing gun violence, but unfortunately Americans are paranoid AF, they just see enemy around every corner, specially the Republicans who are by majority pro-gun nuts, but if you follow their politics they have indoctrinated their followers with fears of "others" or everyone that is not "white". Muslims = enemy/invaders/Shariah law etc, Latino's = the great replacement/demographic change/ Cartels/ drugs, Blacks = gangs/thugs/criminals, so basically for them more than 70% of America is out to get them hence the paranoia to get guns and in that you have few people who have taken this paranoia to next level of entering a mosque or shopping mall or grocery store with racial/xenophobic/Islamophobic writings and shot people. I get people wants to have a gun to protect their house from getting break in, but the more people who are already paranoid and prone to violence aka right wing, give them access to guns and you have a disaster waiting to happen, and every time such incident happen people just condemn, same old BS points scoring and deflection from real issues discuss, but online the people get radicalized and its now a big issue even for FBI and Homeland security, recent mosque shooting is a good example of it, 17 & 19 years old have access to guns, radicalized with mental health issues and hate everyone able to do that, now given America is nation of 300-400 million people, we have several thousands if not more people with Guns and lots of ammo being radicalize in various ideologies and its only a matter of time before another one of them snap and commit acts of violence.

Now this is senseless gun violence. Not only do I know where the sports bar & grill is located, I know the whole area very well. She lived in a development called Belair. I have a friend who lives in that same area.

Police weren't able to get to her home fast enough.
