I'm following the Gunners since 1974. I was 20 then. Was in the UK for their 1st title under Arsene Wenger.

Wow. thts a long long long time. So, you are the rare ones out there who saw it all before the glory of the wenger days and then the long drought. I was passing through my teenage life when wenger joined and I watched the match yesterday with my son who is a teenager now.
on the way to their football academy, it was a week ago that i described to my sons how arsenal team got the invincibles title, the move to the new stadium, how we became a nursery club for the resurgent Man city and we had to live with chamakh, bentdner, and others like them .. the repeated thrift transfer window shopping and how samir nasir, sagnia, song, van pursee and Alex sanchez left us and abou diaby, welshire and santi cazorla injuries hampered our potential...
yesterday was a redemption day... we have finally cracked the code and crossed the line. I believe arsenal can play with more ease and fluidity now.. the monkey is off our backs now.

Play the "reserves" v palace on Sunday and focus on the Big One at Budapest. That's a Huge challenge.

Need a star striker and left winger. Rest is more than adequate barring injuries for next year.

Problem with us is the final ball into the box from open play, so basically a creative midfielder. Someone like Santi cazorla or Aaron Ramsey in his prime wud be immense for Gyokeres, Havertz, saka and Merino. M. Oodegard alone cant do it and eze is inconsistent and goes down on a whisper.
We should replace Jesus and norgard with a proven creative midfielder +/- an upcoming striker. MLS shud be in the midfield, his preferred position. Masquera can slot in as a right back but Ben white and Timber need to improve their injury record. They both are excellent player with good chemistry with sake and rest but are out fot half of the season.
Trossard has been massive lately, him and martinelli are ok unless offcourse Rodrygo or a similar proven talent comes along.
