HAL LCA Tejas: Updates, News & Discussions

*Water leaks evaporate pretty fast when daytime temps are 26C~29C
But the question is, from where the water is coming, Radiator leak???

Condensation so much at that time of the day in UAE???

Seems like some top secret alien technology, Game Changer

Some Indians on X are using RIAT2025 photo of a parked JF-17 to show the rain water as a leak from JF-17. So desperate.

It's fuel overpressure discharge due to high G manoeuvres, notice the transition from negative to positive G. The JF17 does the same, but the discharge valve is under one of the wings, port side I think. Edit - I'm talking about the apparent dump an burn by the tejus, hardly call it burn anyway, more like a dump :)

The plane was conceived as VFM replacement of Mig 21 or as baby Mirage.

I believe IAF top brass were too obsessed with Gnats legacy (yes it out performed F86 in many parameters) and wanted to replicate its legacy but over the time they wanted to add more and more stuff. LCA concept was an excellent idea for 1990s to 2010s but once they started shoving more and more high tech stuff it just destroyed the idea of having simple agile aircraft that could just pop up for a quick dog fight or quick BVR shot at 60km range. Sort of like advance version of Mig21 Bison.
The Swiss wanted to have a light fighter jet ALR PIRANHA but did not proceed with the plan.

You can be both, many PAF officers have para wings.

But then again, your lack of knowledge has never stopped you posting in the past....

No, it's only likes of you who are ridiculously ignorant -- Para is just a course which any officer can undergo irrespective of his branch. GDP / Engg / Air Defence - no matter what - one doesn't have to be from special forces to be a paratrooper.

Once you complete the course and make the jumps - you earn the badge of paratrooper which you can pin on your chest - it doesn't change anything else.

Most of PAF cadets undergo this course during their training at Academy - some do it after passing out - some don't do it at all like myself.

Here is a photo of one of our ex chiefs with the para badge on his chest.
