HAL LCA Tejas: Updates, News & Discussions

Deino,
Please issue instructions to the PLAAF and the PAF, possibly the BAF as well, not to take any hostile action for the next two years.
You may have to take a firm tone.

Well if PLAAF and PAF could have done anything, then 2020 May June was their only Window of Opportunity, before our Mobilisation

Our Both Adversaries have Neither the Will Nor the Ability to Fight with India

In exactly 14 years after first flight, around 300 (or maybe more) J20 have been delivered to the airforce, and most of the Chinese thinks it's very normal, how can we have Indian member still singing priases after their chief giving out such statement, truly mind boggling.

:ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: what happened on FEB 2019 and in 2020😂😂😂, you're humiliated allover the world

Yes for sure ... Tejas Mk2 will rule the sky, AMCA will surprisingly be unveiled much earlier, will use an indigenous +110kN engine and could almost instantly be built in masses so that the number of required squadrons is at the desired level ... and all this within two years! 🤡

Upps ... just in a dream.

There is a basic fundamental difference if you compared.

China is on rising side today with much better economy, military budgets - just 20 years ago they also only used to rely on others and manufacturing the aircrafts....

Pakistan has nothing to do this technology developments, they are just enjoying the good relationship with china and turkey, they are mostly giving them dollars and getting the products - so definitely they will be beneficial because china is doing well.

Other hands, india was having good relationship with Russia, and Russia was the country if she does good in such fields, india would be beneficial and gets most of the goodies without much challenges but Russia lacks the money and resources now to work on latest technologies.

India made a few blunders in the past for making decisions, but not much have options because most western countries are money minded, they provide the weapons based on the their own interests and dollars.

Still india has more than fighters presently to protect our sky, but definitely we need new fighter planes within this decade....

It can not be justified in anyways, even 20 years ago, we never had situation like IAF, not a single jet hand over to airforce in a whole year, this is absurd.

A little basic knowledge since maybe the beginning of the humanity., whoever having the upper hand on the scene is the side that always gets the chance to clean the battleground afterward.

In Galwan, we have seen photos of Indians soliders captured, kneeled in large numbers and later handed over to India side, which proves that we had full control of the area where the battle took place, the same applied to 1962.
I think that pretty much tells everything.

No amount of Cryptic comments Or Snide Remarks can Stop our Progress
It’s not the PDF comments that is stopping Indian progress. But it’s the Indian politicians, bureaucrats and military leadership that is stopping India progress in fighter development.

As for the GE engines, what if Trump tell Modi to stop trading with Russia or no GE engines, what would India do?

My guess is that India will stop trading with Russia to please Trump.

You lost in Kailash Range
And lost 45 soldiers in Galwan

That us why after 4 years of futile deployments, you have quietly withdrawn this year

PLA knows the Reality of how Indian Army dominates the LAC

Photos will only spoil and damage the very Fragile peace
And undo the diplomatic efforts

It is the LASTING Psychological imprint which CREATES future DETERRENCE

And PLA has had enough in the last 4 years , hence the withdrawal

Your Guess work is Meaninless ,pointless and irrelevant

India will be in a great position with both Putin and Trump

Wait and watch

I am not justifying anything but you need to be more realistic.

India mostly depended on Russia for the latest technologies in the past. We purchased the weapons from the west with much restrictions and almost no technology of transfer.

Downfall of Soviet and later, incapability of Russia to develop and work on the new technologies caused more challanges for india since india was highly rely on Soviet/Russia for military weapons.

Aircraft, Tanks, submarines and navy ships, these four are one of the most important weapons for military...... Aircraft and submarines are most complex to develop and manufacture, this is the reason only a selected countries still can develop.

Developments of HAL Tejas, and Arjun tank, classic example of error of making decisions. I called Arjun Tank as a failure because even after a long development process, it is not good enough to serve the nation, but definitely it helped to develop infrastructure in india, and it will help for developing new tanks.

Similar to HAL Tejas, it took a very long but I don't call it failure because china and Pakistan air forces still flying the similar capable aircrafts as example jf17 block 2 & 3, and these fighters planes not going anywhere soon before 2050. So if India will be having Hal Tejas Mk1a, Total 100 aircrafts within this decade, to serve the nation for atleast next two decades.... It will be very helpful for IAF.

But we need more capable aircrafts, likely Hal Tejas mk2 will start coming from 2029-30, but for the time being we need to import fighters planes and number would be around 100 aircrafts.

Problem is now that USA fighters are very good but many strings are attached, western once are very costlier and Russians are not good enough.......... IAF is now on very tough situation..... Again, I am not justifying anything but being more realistic.

Sorry for typo errors - traveling and using mobile

There are a lots of miscalculation from your AF and govt, switching from here to there, Rafael, only 36 instead of going for 100+, engine program delayed/put on shelf, went from Russian equipments but not going all out on western one either.

Now, you have to queued for more Rafael and your country doesn't want to go back to Russia as people already tasted "superior western jets"...a total stuck.
