Anything about the torps? BTW it took basically exactly 2 years from launch to commissioning for the hangor based on this we could see at least 2 Chinese hangors being delivered next year and 1 more either later that same year or early 2028, we might see the first Pakistani hangor launched too next year hopefully.

Yup I think All 4 chinese ones will be commissioned by the end of 2027. Baki Pakistani wali Allah jany. Don't expect any of them to be commissioned before 2030.

its not that bad

5th units and 1st from Karachi was steel cut 9th Dec 2021 and keel laid in 24th Dec 2022
6th units and 2nd from Karachi was steel cut 24th Dec 2022 and keel laid 14th feb 2024

when they cut the steel plates they then build the block or module and when the module is completed they lift it down into the construction hall which is what they call laying the keel

so 5th unit is 54 months on and 6th unit is 41 months on

Because Pakistan previously built the later boats of the French-designed Agosta 90B-class submarine programme at Karachi, the shipyard already had submarine construction experience before the Hangor project started

so 5th is expected to be launched in Q1-Q2 2027
and 6th is expected to be launched in Q1-Q2 2028

and since the program is not single 1 staggered test and evaluation but rather a simultaneous synchronised program the 7th should get steel cut after 5th is launched and so on

the 2nd, 3rd and 4th units from China will be delivered by end of 2027

with 5th from Karachi in the water plus the 1st one that is commissioned thats 5 units

so we will have 5 x Hangor Class in the water within 12-18 months, this program is moving very fast
