Hangor Class Submarine | Updates & Discussion

I am surprised Pakistani members are still giving attention to that french troll @BonPlan who sole purpose is to waste your time
maybe try ignoring him?
He is not a French troll but 1000% false flagged Indian troll pretending to be French, maybe he is living in France for long time and learn how to speak French

My cousin went to Germany for better future and German govt first teach to speak German and now he's speaking German fluently because English is not common language in Germany and same goes to France

That's very common in European nations, they give you free language classes so you can speak their language without issues.

I call that Indian man "Rakesh" whenever he puts his nose into something I write :)

Pakistan needs a second strike capability! I know eventually it will come as part of the KSA-Pakistan defense agreement around 2035. But do you foresee it earlier?

Turkiye is building a nuclear sub project with hull being put together right now. Will it make sense for Pakistan to join this project? May be Pakistan and Saudia joint effort?

IMO the larger surface fleet will likely see more work in CTFs, Regional Maritime Patrols (RMP), and a potential regional Pak-KSA naval apparatus than the PN's wartime A2/AD.
Platforms matter little, PN can boast when it gets decent hypersonic/supersonic missiles in numbers, across new and legacy platforms.

and what about the money?
At this point, it should be almost painfully obvious that Chinese arms sale to Pakistan in the second decade of the 21st century, literally, isn’t about the money, but more about geopolitical balance.

From the Type 054AP, HQ-9B, Army VT-4 SH-15, to J-10C+PL-15 deal, China have been consistently selling equipment with less than 10% profit margin compared to the estimated/alleged domestic procurement cost, financed by low/zero rate loans offered by Chinese banks, on top of series of tech transfers and establishment of local capabilities such as assembly and overhaul.

Whoever’s striking the deals in China clearly never considered “and what about the money”, for whatever monetary profit they lost is, clearly, infintessimal compared to the geopolitical benefit they reaped by supplying an ally to balance, humiliate, and disrupt an aspiring, belligerant, regional power.
How many stay in the stock pile ? probably very few or not a single as PAF diseappeor from the sky day 2.
As many as Pakistan needs. Judging from the serial numbers on the captured PL-15 wreckage, the Chinese simply took their 2015 early batch PL-15s out of their domestic stockpile and promtply painted an extra “E” label. With the purpose of Chinese arms sale in South Asia, and their production capacity in mind, it would only be logical that the PAF would not have to worry about magazine depth unless it suffers a prolonged blockade.

Platform does indeed matter, quite a lot actually.

Given the extreme numerical, and even qualitative in some respect, disadvantage compared to IN, submarines with the benefit of unmmatched stealth stands the best chance to evade, extend, harass, disrupt, and eventually dismantle IN maritime blockade.

And because of its nature, submarines tends to operate in a significantly more isolated environment with greater restrictions in utilizing friendly force multipliers, in which case certain performance features, including quieting, communications, kinematics, sensors, firing channels (the number of targets that can be engaged at once), can play a more significant role than usual.

ASW capabilities is comparatively one of the weaker aspects of the IN, and having capable submarine platforms would play a crucial role, should PN seeks assymetric capability.

Brother don't engage him he's well known false flagged Indian pretending to be French

No matter what you reply logically he will not satisfy from your answer

Real, I can assure I'm real.
I just said and say that if one Rafale was indeed grounded, not a single one here knows why. PL-15? maybe but maybe not.
Wait and see and don't get so exited.

I actually agree with you.

Just like we'll never know who your daddy was. Was it Monsieur le pâtissier? Or was it the ladoo walla? Or perhaps even Tyrone.

I guess we'll never know.

Even till today no Hangor class submarine has been inducted in PN fleet

Why is it taking so much time? What is causing the delay?
