In the past the Catholic school system was run by the church of England and the faculty and especially the principal were padres. After Bhutto nationalised everything the padres were packed off and local Christian men and women of the cloth took over and they had to teach the students the government approved syllabus. It all went downhill after that. I myself went to St Mary's school murree road and then moved to the lalazar academy of St Mary's. Excellent schools and teachers then.Bet you $10 he thinks Ismailis are Ahmadis. Bet you another $10 that his statement has more to do with him than the Ahmadis or the Ismailis.
Ironically, any hindrance of any sort in anyone's religion is against one of the core tenets of the religion, unless it infringes upon another's rights. Protecting one's insecurities is not a right.
My parents and their siblings all went to Catholic schools. Thousands of kids in Pakistan still do.
