Your idea is completely flawed.

1. The army is taught to fight wars and defend territory - nothing else. They are not qualified to govern. They dont learn anything about the world outside of thier bubble.

2. It always relies on a "messiah". No military rule ever built institutions that would help establish continued sustainable competent governance.

3. No military dictator can he held to account. There are no consequences to thier actions.

I dont think Parliamentary democracy is the correct fit for Pakistan - but its a damn sight better than military dictators.

Politicians know they have to deliver.

Politicians can be changed.

Politicians have to have some awareness of public demands.

Politicians don't have a million armed men to protect them from consequences.

Ideally what we need is systems.

A strong judiciary to pass judgement on those accused of breaking the law.

A strong police force to enforce the law.

Competent bureaucrats to administer governance.

Strong well funded thinktanks and research centres (based predominantly in iur Universities) to research all sorts of matters and help both the politicians with the defining of new policies the bureaucrats with the administration of them.

A competent and functioning civil service to carry out the day to day tasks of the state and its instruments such as schools, hospitals, etc.

When we have those systems in place, the role od the "leader" is limited to approving policies and providing guidance and leadership. They are management.

I am not against military rule. They should rule us, no problem. But if they don't have any intention to rule, then they better not only make a distance from politics and power play , but also should not leave any trace of involvement with politics.
