USN has pulled its carrier out of the Red Sea after Houthis attacked and Iran sent its warship

just shows how ready USN is to fight

losers always run

Or it shows that who to fight is not a decision to be made by the USN and they follow orders. You know, like a chain of command or something.

off Course

Ford Class CVN-78 and its associated warships form part of the Carrier Strike Group 12 (CSG-12)

they are under the command of CENTCOM who is issued instructions from Department of defence

which in turn gets its information from a wide spectrum of intelligence which secretary of defence is briefed daily

so essentially based on the current situation in the Red Sea a decision was made to withdraw CSG

So essentially a chain of command at work dealing with a highly complex issue, and taking into account several steps ahead. I do not see any problem with such appropriate civilian control of a potent military.

This is not what you think bro. It means they are preparing to attack Yemen.

Yemenis have received good air defense systems from Iran. Let's pray for their success in their war against Anglo savages.

Keep the Americans busy on multiple fronts. It is too bad they left Afghanistan. The Americans are feeling the heat. This is not the unipolar world they are used to. China's rise, Russian war against Ukraine, Israel Palestine war and other conflicts around the world is keeping the Americans on their toes. No wonder the Americans left Afghanistan in time and wanted to focus solely on China and Russia. Looks like every time the Americans want to tackle China something interrupts their plan.

I dont think Yemen can really hold off the Western Air Forces unfortunately its the area where Western nations dominate

but the real question is what will happen after that? Yemen has the ability to hit all the US Bases in the region and the gloves will be off

if this activates the Iraqi and Syria resistance big trouble for the Great Satan

Saudi and UAE will be hit and they are probably pressuring the US not to go after Yemen

Yemen can hit every ship in the Bab Al Mandab water way and lets say a single Arleigh Burke gets hit the USN will be in a very bad situation and their fake aura of invincibility will be broken

the same invincibility which they use to project the policy of deterrence through strength

this is why they dont want to hit Iran or Yemen and so hesitant

USS Cole was an Arleigh Burke class., so I guess that event has already happened.

USS Cole was in port when hit and not in a active war zone with all its defence systems activated

also BMD and AEGIS was not part of the Arleigh Burke fleet

it was like hitting a sitting duck not fair comparison

Fair enough. Let's see whether a fully deployed destroyer is hit, and if so, how. That would surely be educational for everyone.

I think with each attack on the USN and Eilat for that matter the Yemeni are gathering data and calibrating each attack

this is helping Iran build more advanced missiles which will one day be able to by pass all the defences

the advances in missiles and drone technology has amazed everyone so far

and probably changed warfare for the years to come

Of course, that is how tactics and doctrines evolve. By all sides.
