Water travels 1,827 kilometers to reach desert Payzawat County
The main construction content is to build a new 8.09 million cubic meter water storage tank, which will be treated by a main water plant with a daily processing capacity of 85,000 cubic meters.
After sedimentation in a grit chamber, it will then go through water purification processes such as disinfection and filtration, and then pass through a 112-kilometer pipeline.
The water main pipe passes through Shule County and is transported to Payzawat County. It is then transported to the township water distribution plant through 167 kilometers of water transmission branch pipes, and then flows to thousands of households through a 1,548 kilometers of water distribution pipe network.
So far, the urban and rural drinking water safety project in Jiashi County with a total pipeline length of 1,827 kilometers has completely solved the water quality problem in Payzawat County.
