Hundreds of thousands protest against Donald Trump's radical politics |

These protestors, mostly Democrats, have nothing to offer but their collective hatred of Trump—no policies to help the working class, not even an increase in the minimum wage. The only thing these protestors are talking about is protecting democracy from Trump's supposed power grab. I find it a nebulous goal because it's so hard to define.

Fascism, like Nazi, have been so loosely thrown around, and for so long, that it has lost all meaning and impact. You expect me to believe that two months into the Trump presidency, we are living under fascism? If we are living under fascism now, we were living under fascism when Biden was POTUS.

Look at the speed with which Trump is going after judges, major universities, journalists, and targeting people with our due process

Compare the speeds with the speed at which Hitler did the same things

The resistance to fascism
Actually Trump is on the right to cut bloated bureaucracy to size to reduce corruption and costs and apply taxes on imports for revenue generation and revive manufacturing industries. The government should deploy advanced systems to manage its affairs and collect data for analysis and policy-making. This proposition is in scientific literature.

Pakistan also needs to follow suit but who will give up PERKS (Khabaay) in our country? The state have applied taxes on imports of various goods here but bloated bureaucracy benefits from this revenue stream instead of it translating to public benefit by having funds to create industry.

This is not how you cut bloated bureaucracy

This is how you cut government to the bone, to ensure their is no oversight, regulation, or barriers to state power

People mistakingly think state and government are the same thing, it ISNT

Vital regulatory, safety net programmes for Americans, etc are all being targeted

This really is a tear down of the U.S

All because the U.S public became so stupid and unwilling to defend the rights given to them, that they willingly swallowed propaganda to elect the clown show currently in power

Some might disagree with this approach but he does not have 50 years like Xi for changes. There is the massive political opposition to navigate through that wants him to fail. Chinese leaders have also made hard decisions in the past to put the country on the track they wanted to but they had absolute power. Bureaucracy cannot be cut to size with roses, my friend. This is a difficult and hard decision. You need to watch Trump speeches to understand his view and realities that CNN will never shed light on.

Trump is a moron, he doesn't really understand the majority of what he is doing, his backers and supporters do however and they have found the idiot they needed to pin everything on and a U.S public at a low ebb

They used democracy against the state

What they are doing however won't work, the world is too diverse, too interconnected, with too many people that the brand of economic idiocy proposed by the U.S won't fix anything but create so much carnage that it will effect the quality of life if billions

What's happening in the U.S at the moment (same as brexit) is why Socretes didnt believe in democracy, because he believed the mob (the average boob on the street) is too stupid to understand the various aspects of statecraft and economic policy to make proper informed decisions and they would be easily led into the abyss by charlatans

Democrats have mastered the art of creating paranoia and misleading the masses. According to them the world will fall apart if their decisions are not upheld. Companies and many countries are responding to Trump's decisions in the manner he expected. He understands the game well enough.

Of-course, politicians of some countries will make claims to give the impression that they are standing up to Trump but there will be negotiations behind-the-scenes. Trump is putting pressure on companies to invest in the US so the US can reduce its imports and trade deficit. I don't say that this is an easy struggle and changes will be quick because investments take time to materialize and show results but this is a start. And of-course, there will be people who will claim that Trump is destroying the world.

Manufacturing ISN'T coming back to the U.S

It's too expensive, the U S worker is too unproductive and the minimum wage is too high
And now the U.S is behaving like some sort of Mafia don, and their is no incentive to move manufacturing to the U.S under such circumstances

Will countries make deals, sure
But no one is rushing to buy overpriced American products

If s company does move manufacturing to the U.S, the basic cost of their products rises, so that's makes them uncompetitive
Not only are the too expensive for foreign countries to buy, but they also have reciprocity tarrifs on them

Even U.S consumers may not want them if they have higher costs compared to Chinese or other products that they paying much less for this and last year

These are IDIOTIC maga goober policies that will slowly destroy U.S standing and create mass international opposition and plays into China's hands

For supporting Zionists genocide, it's exactly what the U.S deserves

This is the start of an occupy Wall Street like movement (which I got to visit; it’s power was the media notion of anti-wall street) and will crescendo with the midterms.

Perhaps an Occupy DC, with protestors sitting in on the mall throughout this entire year and next.

The key would be if the perception sticks: Trump’s economic moves are perceived as class warfare, pitting the burden of government spending more heavily on regular workers and giving billionaires major tax breaks.

Mate, on what grounds are we assuming that American workers are unproductive? Tesla showed that manufacturing in the US is possible when the LEFT claimed otherwise. In this age, automation helps reduce costs while qualified engineers ensure quality. Tesla business in the US is much less affected in times of uncertainty in foreign markets; Tesla would have been in massive trouble in the face of European overreaction to Musk but his investment plan in the US prevented collapse. Trump is right to say that the LEFT has given too much power to other countries by outsourcing manufacturing and reducing job opportunities for many Americans in some states. The US is not Los Angeles and New York only.

A privileged American worker, will never work at the same rate as a worker from China or Vietnam, etc etc

Compare the minimum wage
Or costs of land, factory, electricity, insurance, shipping or taxes etc

If your talking automation, then how expensive are all the robot arms etc to install

Then is the final product COMPETITIVE compared to the same product made in China or anywhere else in the world

Will the people of the world
Or even Americans want to buy overpriced products from the U.S when they can get cheaper alternatives?

The U.S has burnt so much good will, everyone has some sort of reason to despise the U.S at the moment

I'm not buying ANY u.s products because of their stupid policies and the world needs the U.S to be under control and isolated for the world's sake

People have the right to job opportunities in every country privileged or not. Corporate greed is the fundamental issue because company owners have the itch to maximize profits at the expense of worker well being. I have job experience in one of the largest Pakistani companies and I have seen the obvious. The company makes billions in profits but doesn't want to pay good salary to many employees but managers only.

You have not read the articles that I have shared. Chinese goods are competitive because of the World Order created by the LEFT that led to massive appreciation in USD value and this dynamic put American goods at a competitive disadvantage. Not only this but all goods are costly in developing countries due to massive appreciation in USD value. Overpriced goods is a oxymoron claim, consumers should have choices. Tesla Model 3 (an affordable sedan) cost 4 crore in Pakistan due to massive appreciation in USD value and heavy taxation on imports in Pakistan from which bureaucracy benefits (corruption). The car is bang for the buck but most cannot afford it in Pakistan due to current trends.

Can American worker be as productive as China or Vietnam, sure, but Tariff is not the way forward, you want the American worker to be productive, you want to bring manufacturing back to the US? You invest in infrastructure, not trying to make import cost prohibited. Because even if we bring manufacture back, we would still be contenting with a global supply chain. As this Wall Street Journal (A conservative publication owned by Rupert Murdoch) pointed out

The Trump policy tariff policy is based on two things that most likely is not going to happen.

1.) Trump want to punish the US Corporation with the profit first business mentality (hence moving their production base away and left the American Blue collar high and dry) while he wants them to invest in manufacturing infrastructure back in the US. The issue here is, nobody is that stupid enough to pump money back into US after Trump intentionally crash the market like that, it's not smart, nor logical. On the other hand, there are no specific plan in place to build the country back, and the stock wipe out make sure these company would not have capital to do so anyway.

2.) Trump hope to lower interest rate, but the stuff he is doing is not going to lower interest rate, in fact, this is going to lead to high inflation due to supply shortage, the balance of trade already are affected

Which suggest that market doubt the supply issue after the Tariff comes into effect, so they stock up their import before tariff come into play this month. Which mean we are going to expect shortage after the current surge went away, which mean we are facing an inflation, or at least the supplier think they are going to be facing an inflation sometime down the road.

On the other hand, even if somehow Trump can lynch up the Fed and make them drop rate, don't forget there are still tariff in play, and in most case, counter tariff from the destination country, those are going to offset with whatever advantage gained by the interest rate drop.

This is a stupid move by EVERY economic aspect. And this is going to crash the system and what's more, the US is currently doing away the rule of trade and basically tearing up every single Trade Agreement we had with other country and redrawing tariff, even if things get back to normal, this is going to have impact on Foreign Direct Investment becuase we did that, and investor, also country, will not forget that. That will make US a very hostile investment environment. Both for Foreign and Domestic companies
