Hyundai Motor Group to plug $15.5 billion in India's automotive sector

I don’t want to humiliate you.
The following is an analysis report from your own Indian media.

I think you’re the one embarrassing yourself here with your terrible reading comprehension. This is simply a list of the top countries India sources its components from as part of global value chains. India also exports a substantial volume of automotive components to global markets. There’s nothing new or unusual about this; that’s how global supply chains work. China, too, continues to import significant quantities of semiconductors and semiconductor manufacturing equipment despite having a much deeper semiconductor supply chain today.

"China ran a roughly $223B net IC trade deficit that year. Approximately $170.9 billion IC trade deficit in just the first 8 months of 2026 despite possessing one of the deepest semiconductor supply chains in the world"

20 years ago India was in the exact same spot as it is in now.

20 years from now India will be in the exact same spot as it is in now

Innovation and creativity is not in the Indian DNA
This thread isn’t for gullible, delusional people like you. I can see the headline has struck a nerve, given your seemingly endless obsession with India.

The Australian Strategic Policy Institute (ASPI) released major 2026 findings regarding China's technological, military, and strategic expansion through its ASPI Critical Technology Tracker and ongoing tracking reports. [1, 2]

Critical Technology Tracker (June 2026 Refresh)
  • Market Leadership: China leads in 69 out of 74 tracked critical technologies. [1]
  • Monopoly Risks: China’s research concentration poses a high monopoly risk in 41 of those technologies (up from 33 previously), with key upgrades in AI hardware, accelerators, and biological manufacturing. [1, 2]
  • US Counterweights: The United States maintains a strong lead in specific domains like neuroprosthetics (which carries a high monopoly risk), while brain-computer interfaces shifted to intermediate risk. [1]

Military & Strategic Tracker Updates
  • China Defence Universities Tracker (CDUT): ASPI released a September 2026 expansion of the tracker mapping institutional and defense-industrial ties. [1]
  • Grey-Zone Maritime Strategy: ASPI public panels and the Pressure Points program highlight Beijing's heavy reliance on coast guard and weaponized civilian fleets in the Indo-Pacific, Taiwan Strait, and South China Sea (such as tracking vessels linked to subsea cable disruptions). [1, 2, 3]
  • Extraterritorial Jurisdiction: ASPI analysts highlighted that domestic laws like China’s Ethnic Unity and Progress Promotion Law attempt to exercise legal reach and characterize lawful work by analysts or journalists abroad as criminal. [1]

If China is as technologically advanced as you claim, why was Chinese BOE accused of stealing Samsung Display’s OLED technology including technology used in advanced smartphone displays? BOE infringed 3 Samsung Display patents. I could bring up multiple other examples but let's leave it here. This thread doesn't need your endless China centric defensiveness or personal frustration. Take it elsewhere and stop polluting the discussion with irrelevant arguments.
