Let me tell you this, any ground invasion similar to Iraq or Afghanistan would be a disaster for the US, they know it, Iran knows it, everyone knows it. There are many reasons behind this.

The thing is, US didn't learned a thing from Rus-Ukraine war, they didn't have enough point defence AA systems like combo of laser, microwave and mini anti drone missiles,
the only thing they have is some CIWS guns and stingers on humvee, that is not enough at all, THAAD, patriot is expensive and not for anti drone role

Now obviously I would be supportive of that result so If that happens, I hope the Iranians can put up strong unconventional resistance. In fact I am supportive of America making every single blunder to tarnish themselves as they support the same thing vice versa.

I admit I do talk about the ground component of war a little bit but to me, war without ground component is like a street fight where you can only throw stones at each other. You can't destroy each other and end up getting no where

Iran’s objective is not to win but to inflict highest loss to the US and allies.

Iran can try to achieve the following objectives

1) prolong war for the remainder of Trump’s tenure or at least for couple of months

2) Block straight of Hormuz for months to give energy shock to the rest of the world

3) hit Israel with 20-30 Missiles/drones every week for months or a year so that the world is occupied with these continuous attacks and Iran’s capabilities are acknowledged

1) Will not affect US untill boots are not on ground, due to that Iran can't infect causality like in Afghanistan.

3) within 2 weeks, Israel & US bombing has already crippled Iran's ability to attack with Missile/Rocket/Drone.

In my view
1) Russia & China must step up and come on frontline to protect Iran.
2) Pakistan & Afghan can lend its helping hand due to aligned border
3) since BRICs interests are hurting, Russia & China can use their veto power alongwith India & Pakistan political pressure to push motion to block/stop US & Israel bombing
4) BRIC can also initiate peace deal between the parties.

While that defense grid have held up and prevented massive damage, low-cost solutions are now being moved to the Middle East.

The US is sending a new drone-killer to the Middle East. It's logged over 1,000 Shahed intercepts over Ukraine.

The Merops system uses a roughly $15,000 reusable interceptor drone, giving the US a cheaper air defense option against Iran's Shahed drones.

the problem is everyone busy with their own interest & wars, US knows that.

India is looking for its economic interest, fuel security which is important for its internal consumption. So, even Iran is close but not an ally like Israel.

China has economic & military might to pressure US to stop bombing Iran. Chinese leadership should have stood with its ally when they needed them, if not now then when ? after regime change in Iran ?
