It is a preliminary judgement that says that there is grounds for an investigation, but it is not a verdict nor does it call for a ceasefire. Luckily, the West is united now in response to it against Hamas terrorists.

The full PDF document released by the ICJ is the best and direct source, but Part VI: Conclusion and Measures to be adopted clearly states how the court arrived at it and then VI.86, the last item before the signatures, states this:

86. For these reasons,
THE COURT,
Indicates the following provisional measures

and just before this, V.74 clearly states:

74. In light of the considerations set out above, the Court considers that there is urgency, in
the sense that there is a real and imminent risk that irreparable prejudice will be caused to the rights
found by the Court to be plausible, before it gives its final decision (underlining is by me)

This are the provisional measures indicated by the Court. Israel has to submit a report to the Court showing how it plans to meet those provisional measures. This is being done to prevent the risk of causing harm before the final verdict is reached, however long it may take, and is typical court procedure all over the world.

I hope that is clear enough without me opining about anything.

It doesn't say the word ceasefire. It calls for harm to be reduced to the Palestinians, mental and physical.

If Israel wants to hail the lack of ceasefire as a victory it needs to also respond to what is being asked of it, read the content.

I don't need to throw mud here, this is a Pakistani forum, I expect hate for the only Jewish country from a Muslim forum anyway. It's sad, but it is what it is. Luckily, in a 100 years, the people spreading hate and their ideologies will die out and agnosticism and atheism will be the order of the day in a peaceful world.
