Imran Khan has won with more than a two-thirds majority. The PML-N could not secure even a single seat from Lahore. Amir of Jamaat-e-Islami, Hafiz Nae

Constitution is way below in hierarchy within the makeup of the state, these rats in GHQ/Abpara have openly defied and rejected collective will of the citizens, when the citizens decided who they want to rule Pakistan by their votes. This is the mother of all treason, because when individuals reject citizen's will, they are rejecting the state itself. Zero tolerance for such individuals. This has gone way beyond IK or PTI, these rats in GHQ must be shown their place once and for all. Roman empire used to disarm and made its generals wear civilian cloths before letting them enter their capital city, we must learn and learn quickly.
Pakistan biggest problem is the constitution

It's time Pakistan just wrote a new constitution declaring military as the ruling party and the chief as the chief executive

We can dissolve the provinces and divide the countries as per corps commander localities..that will make more sense to me

Lol

You guys use to call us harami when we would suggest why military foot soldiers are killed and unprotected...

Obviously all for brownie points..it's a way for them to remain in power..kill their own foot soldiers by letting a militancy grow and refuse to provide weapons or equipment for protection
we were wrong and i apologise!

PTI is just as much a product of GHQ than any other major political party
All parties in Pakistan have a history of collaboration with the army
you are mixing 2 different things here. one is being a product and the other is collaboration.

PTI or its leader were never GHQ's products. they have collaborated, sure, but one cant trace their origins to ghq. unlike bhutto and nawaz sharif.

Pakistan’s youth deliver stinging rebuke to military elite by backing jailed leader Khan

Allies of Pakistan's jailed ex-leader deliver surprise victory in general elections

Islamabad, PakistanCNN —
His political party is effectively banned, his speeches are barred from television, and he faces at least 14 years in prison. But as the Pakistan election results show, Imran Khan cannot be suppressed.
Independent candidates affiliated with the former prime minister’s Pakistan Tehereek-e-Insaf (PTI) party secured the most parliamentary seats in last week’s nationwide election, the election commission announced Sunday.
It is a stunning victory for an incarcerated Khan who, two years ago faced a dramatic ouster as prime minister and most recently faced a military-led crackdown analysts say was designed to thwart the cricket icon’s return to power.

“You kept my trust, and your massive turnout has stunned everyone,” an AI-generated video of Khan shared by the PTI that mimicked his voice, said to his millions of followers shortly after his victory. “Now show the strength of protecting your vote.” Khan’s team has previously used AI to deliver his speeches from behind bars.
The continued success of Khan aligned candidates marks a seismic moment in the country’s recent history: It has delivered a stinging rebuke to the powerful military, a usually untouchable force that has long sat at the apex of power in Pakistan and – according to Khan’s aides and many supporters – cracked down on his party.
“As a Pakistani, it was profoundly empowering to witness the collective outcry against injustice manifested through the ballot,” said Hashim Ali Dogar, 20, from the city of Lahore.

The impression that the 2024 February Pakistani election was stolen; the mandate was stolen may find a kindred spirit in Trump, who in tonight debate with Biden brought it up again with regards to the 2020 US presidential election. After the debate, it looks even more likely Trump would defeat Biden, if Biden remains the candidate.

Couple this with the threat of Magnitsky sanctions on the COAS, and the need to carry out COIN in KPK with the help of the provincial PTI government, it’s becoming more self-evident that the PDM 2.0 experiment has totally failed, and going against the grain of Pakistani public opinion is becoming futile.

Pakistan would be better off preparing itself for the most likely return of Trump, by reconciliation, before having to scramble after the fact.

P.S. There is only 130 days till the US election, that’s little over 4 months away. Get IK, his wife and his deputy SMQ out of prison and at least back in Bani Gala. Have the may 9 detainees tried in civilian courts, and work out a COIN strategy in KPK with the blessing of IK. This is a start, but honestly, unrigging the February elections are needed. Then get IK fund raising with the diaspora and finding a way to fund social services so local people will be willing to pay more in taxes, and set the economic ship right.

If this is done, Trump can be talked down by IK, but without Khan at the helm, Trump’s orders will just cause more chaos in Pakistan, ultimately resulting in the same thing, IK’s release, with less benefit of Pakistani officials having a chance to prepare for a constructive Pak-US relationship. They would be basically in the same position with the US government as they are now, out in the cold.

Conversely, with khan at the helm, a trade focused relationship and a pathway to Central Asia, would see Trump loyalists gain mining contracts and more influence for Pakistan in Afghanistan and Central Asia, supported by both the US and China.

good points... but Trump is no angel for Pakistan also.

> Trump pro Israel to the extreme.. only public comment by Khan as PM on Gaza can spoil the honey moon

> Trump or no trump the US hostility towards China will continue and iran as well. Pakistan benefits by strengthening relation with Iran and China. Trump may be pissed.

As you said it all depends how Khan sells his story to Trump and how much Trump will buy it and able to convince the US machinery which is Anti Muslim at it's core

Trump or Biden, they all work for Israel. Israel is the deep state of USA .Asim kept busy Pakistan in internal problems because Pakistani people reacted last attack on Palestine when imran was prime minister the reaction made Isreal stopped its attack on Palestinians after 15 days .but this time Asim diverted Pakistaní’s attention into internal matters. As we all know Americans use Pakistani generals and Pakistani politicians like condom.. imran must use them them as condom as well. Trump will try to get sympathy from from Pakistani population as Pakistani population is one of the biggest population with English-speaking people.
