IT exports and ICT exports are not the same thing
IT exports mainly refer to software and IT services such as software development, consulting, outsourcing and IT-enabled services. ICT exports are broader and include IT services plus telecommunications, information services, and other ICT-related goods and services.

Ai is here, and there is no real way to put this genie back in the bottle I am afraid. How can anyone agree to restrict themselves, while they think their "competitor(whomever that may be)" could be using Ai for their benefit, and against you. The world is not built on trust.
It is now a reality, and for one which we have to try and put in guard rails, but it is not going away unfortunately.
It will eventually work its way out when we realise what Ai can or cannot do and where we humans will fit in. The whole world run's on making a profit, that is the reality of it and that means Ai will be around for that reason alone.
Ai will change the world, for the better or worse. Old opportunities and ways of working will die, and new ones will open up once we discover new ways of doing things that we could not do before.
We have had technological innovations that at first looked like they would end the world, but only to become part of our world.

India does not sit on the table for anything technology related. They are end users and people who give their data for free to google/microsoft/ebay/amazon/x etc. They have no technology when it comes to AI (or anything to be fair) and no semiconductor technology relevant in todays world.

I work in cybersecurity, and I can already see how AI is transforming the field.
AI has started making a significant impact—from threat detection and investigation to automation and incident response. But I believe this is only the beginning.
AI is still in its learning and evolving phase. Its future in cybersecurity is incredibly promising, and the way security teams work over the next few years could change dramatically.
We are not at the peak of AI yet—we are witnessing the early stages of something much bigger.
