I dont think Turkiye is really in a hurry to join BRICS. At present, it just wants to signal to the West that it has alternatives on this side as well. This will help Turkiye attract some concessions from the west to dissuade Turkiye to become a full member of BRICS, as it will embarass to see a NATO member joining BRICS.

With regards to India, I do not think we have any historical animosity with Turkiye. It is only with Erdogan who is acting chummy with Pakistan and raises Kashmir on international forum. I can see some back channel agreement happening where Turkiye will say that he will henceforth keep mum on Kashmir.

We are probably one of the only countries in the world that has good relationship with all 3 powers like U.S., Russia, and China and the only Islamic country that always had good relationship with both Arabs and Iranians. India is the one who is isolated mainly due to China and poor relations with all its neighbours.

Pakistan has its own foreign policy as well and in a good position. We are probably one of the only countries in the world that has good relationship with all 3 powers like U.S., Russia, and China and the only Islamic country that always had good relationship with both Arabs and Iranians. India is the one who is isolated mainly due to China and poor relations with all its neighbours.

What you have with all those countries is not called "relationship" but puppet & master roleplay. Monetarily, politically or militarily it's one way street where Pakistan offers nothing, hence can be discarded in a breath by most of them.

Probably they'll keep mum on Kashmir and raise it again whenever the need arises and thats ok. It won't make a difference to us anyways. Our relationship with them is mostly related to the supply of defence equipment and people to people contact due to culture and that will continue. The India-Turkiye relations can never reach that level for two reasons. Firstly, the Turks are watching India supply arms to Armenia which is a threat to both Turkiye and its sister country Azerbaijan and secondly, Türkiye is an aspiring power and it has interest expanding its sphere of influence in the East. Unless India gives up its islands or territory or businesses for Turkish interests maybe then it can work. The East - West corridor btw which India has planned includes Greece and excludes Turkiye. That is another element of concern for Turkiye.

Russia and China are in a series of "entanglements" that's not "iron clad" friendship. It's sort of we've been dealt this hand and will help each other for now.
