Coal India​


Coal India Limited (CIL) is an Indian public sector undertaking and the largest government-owned coal producer in the world. Headquartered in Kolkata, it is under the administrative control of the Ministry of Coal, Government of India.

It accounts for around 82% of the total coal production in India. It produced 554.14 million tonnes of raw coal in 2016–17, an increase from its earlier production of 494.24 million tonnes of coal during FY 2014–15 and earned revenues of ₹95,435 crore (US$11 billion) from sale of coal in the same financial year. In April 2011, CIL was conferred the Maharatna status by the Government of India, making it one of the seven with that status. owned by the Central Government of India which controls its operations through the Ministry of Coal. As of 14 October 2015, CIL's market capitalisation stood at ₹2.11 lakh crore (US$25 billion) making it India's 8th most valuable company.

CIL ranks 8th among the top 20 firms responsible for a third of all global carbon emissions.

sir, we find Biharis are similar to Bangladeshis in India. population rose and a big number migrated to do poor jobs, which is true :)

sir, there are to type of migrants, "the immigrants who generate jobs by helping local industries and those who take other jobs, like labourer who take jobs of locals."

the difference between those who are taken for White Collar Jobs and as compared to those who do Blue Collar Jobs would be analysed :coffee:

sir, for migrants for India, specially Hindus, its a proud if/ who get selected for foreign job. if you get selected to take a job of American or Gulf, its something asked, "are you happy to lose a job of US/Gulf to this Indian immigrant, and why?" :)

the entry to US-West and Gulf are never for free :)

The real metric you are looking for is the size of the diaspora.

Indian Diaspora is only 2.5 - 3.0 times the size of Pakistani, Philippines and almost same almost size of Mexican diaspora.

So yeah, India diaspora has been pretty good at earning and sending money to India.

I guess Indian diaspora population would be said reasonable in number as per total population of India.
we find so much noise about Pakistani immigrants while the total number is less, as compared to the 'noise' we hear....

I am some how agree with you.

Because of IT industry, most of the Indians do not need to leave the country. They all are working from India itself.

Pakistan mostly export cheap labor to Arab countries. (your count is high because of muslim identity)
Mexico - TN (Trade NAFTA) status is a nonimmigrant employment visa which allows Mexican citizens who work in specific professional occupations to work in the U.S

Some massive inaccurate assumptions
Population has nothing to do with how many people are abroad
There are twice as many Pakistanis in UK to Indians they have bigger families

If you visit America it is no-brainer why Mexico is there
It is interesting China is getting a lot of remittances even though they developed

There are 1.8 million Indians in UK and 1.6 million Pakistani

Number of Muslims is almost 5 million, but that's from all nationalities
 
To add to the above just a quick Google search their are 35 million people in the Indian diaspora

The Pakistani diaspora currently is 7-10 million

Again I would say Mexico, Philippines and Pakistan have actually done better then Indians and Chinese in this regard

There are five million Pakistanis in mid east alone
Another 2 million Pakistani north America
Thats over 10 million including uk

Versus 35 million Indian
The remittances reflect this

Diaspora is different to Indians emigrating to occupations.

i would find Muslim population areas of India not bad. its not like you said. there is some difference but not like this......

in Lucknow city, the Muslim colonies i have visited were of good standard, i find Chicken shops were better than my colony. little bit poverty is seen in outer Hindu majority colonies also....

Hindus are certainly bit richer, but Muslim are near too :coffee:
