100 when? Now India GDP will not pass mythical $4 trillion GDP even in FY27. GDP per capita stagnant at $2500 range.

India is now the 4th country to have access to ASML machines after Taiwan, South Korea and Netherlands. A deal with ASML means that India now has access to advanced lithography tools to mass print the chips.

The Tata-ASML partnership utilizes DUV lithography for 28nm to 110nm legacy nodes, whereas 8nm production requires EUV technology, advanced multi-patterning, and FinFET architectures. While Tata plans future scaling to 14nm/10nm FinFETs, their initial, planar 28nm technology represents a significantly lower density and resolution than an 8nm generation.

India needs to build it's industry from the bottom, 28nm is still very important.
