India Economy Thread

India just released GDP figures for 2025-26. INR346.36 lakh crore or $3.65 trillion. GDP per capita INR243000 or $2560.

With INR/USD tanking further to 100, next FY too India will not get anywhere near mythical $4 trillion GDP.

Rupee had averaged ₹85/$ throughout FY26, GDP would be about:
₹346.36 trillion ÷ 85
≈ $4.07 trillion

We will wait for RBI's numbers after May 2026, their numbers are as of April 30.
You can wait. Or apply basic economics knowledge. A country which has hundreds of B$ worth US treasury bonds and other $ assets wont be moving gold for 12B$ payment.

That was a hindu bhajan. Poetess was an Indian called Meerabai from 16th century.

Nash Energy developed its own NEI32140E LFP cell and claims capabilities across cylindrical, prismatic and pouch-cell development. Ola developed the Bharat Cell platform including 4680 and 46100-format LFP cells with vehicles already running on them. Building a gigafactory is easy if you have capital. Developing cell technology, materials and IP from scratch is the harder part.
