Browsing this thread, I get the impression that Indian economy is doing really well and is within striking distance of becoming a superpower by 2030. However, the endless good news reported here doesn't seem to square with the rise of the Cockroach Janta Party and the ongoing protests about jobs. Can anyone explain this discrepancy?

Someone really said "low base effect" of all things and this Chinese dude posted it as a gotcha moment totally believing in this stupidity.
