India Economy Thread

Welcome move.

Still remember my Engineering days when hardly there was any scope in chip fabrication and designing. Cadence and ST microelectronics were the only options, with small offices.
Cadence is not a semiconductor fabrication company

It looks like a toy. Even as a mock-up, it looks a bad job at it.

That cannot be a mock up of a MALE. These guys seem to be mocking us.

at least now if any indian mentions the qaher 313 I have the perfect response ready

thank you india
To be fair, if Iran showed the Qaher 313 as a drone from the beginning, people would have taken it significantly more seriously considering how relatively advanced Iran's drone industry is.

Showing it as a fighter was an absolute mistake, and it should have been designed as a drone from the very beginning.

Even if we look past the mockup having a ridiculously disproportionally stubby fuselage and comparatively short wingspan, with the tail control surfaces hardly having any area and arm to generate torque...

100kg payload drone with no Satcom in 2024 being marketed as a "bomber" or an indigenous Predator.

Truly another authentic Made in India moment.

We dont call even ANKA-3 UCAV with payload of 1.200 kg as a Bomber UCAV

This project has no value with payload of 100 kg

These private startups still need to prove themselves to be considered by the Indian defense ministry for purchasing and deployment, so it's premature to assume India will buy from them.

However, it is necessary not to make fun of this project which develops by a private defense company

Turkish BAYKAR has started this journey in 2000s with 6kg UAV and now BAYKAR produce 6.000 kg AKINCI UCAV which is the best turboprop engine UCAV in the world

People made fun of BAYKAR UAV in 2000s
and now BAYKAR develops even 7.5 tons KIZILELMA unmanned stealth Fighter Jet

India should support private sector ...

@DDG-80 , I like your zeal to propagate anything good coming out from India.

But you need to use your judgement a little before creating such threads. Take a moment to mull over the headline that you give to such threads. Even if the news media give such bombastic headline, you can use a more appropriate one, to avoid the ridicule.

Does this look like the first UAV to be able to carry a payload of 100 Kg coming out of India? It looks like an amateur scale model.

More appropriate headline should have been - “Indian Startup showcases it’s first UAV”.

That's precisely my current thought. I should've delved deeper into it before posting it in PDF.
