What are we likely to do to meet this threat

Your 30/40 J35 I get that bit ... but they will not be in five places at once....
And once it's done its one sortie it can't fly again for maintenance for another 24 hours plus...that's fifty generation maintenance for you ...And they need specialist hangers unique workshops so it's costly to maintain

China has 300 billion defense budget then can cope

If they take out your Infrastructure or badly damage it ....you can't fight a coordinated war for long...
You may disperse your assets but they can hit you anywhere as the range and lethality is getting bigger and better

This is why the 8 billion. Deal with Israel is so fascinating
It's huge purchase for essentially stand off weaponary both replenish and new more sophisticated equipment

The tactics are simple hit them everywhere from well with indian air space

Imagine the collection of fire power in next 5-10 years. We can easily double our defense budget in 10 years. We are also cutting personnel and pension cost. Ofcourse no war is won without ability to resupply.
