India foreign policy thread

20 years they were going to make this port a "game changer": "bypass Pakistan", "Open up Central Asia", "Destroy Karachi and Gwadar"

2026

Port closed and Karachi Pprt has had its busiest and most commericially successful year in it's history.

Anything disputing these facts is the usual India cope.....

We wished for Gwadar, you wished for Chabahar, so yeah dude, think it is time for us to saddle up....
You should definitely saddle up, considering the cost of petrol in your country.

There should be a mega Sega super duper thread on Chahbahar. People are being forced to discuss Chahbahar from the Indian lense.

Open one thread or multiple thread or look at it ftom ip or down, it doesnt change the basic facts.

Chabahar, like any normal prohect underwent viability studies, was executed decently , started container operations and was expanding.

Projects nearby are still waiting to see business 20 yearz after they were anniunced. Ports dont take 20 yearz to start operations.

Yes and we all should be discussing importance of Chahbahar in itself and onto the region. Years of bad Indian reputation is not helping.

does it matter? Chabahar will eventually recover its cost and be sustainable. While its main competition is lying undrrutilized snd empty. You go ahead and spend your money on white elephants of great importance. Iran and india will tty to make a port work.

Hence there is no need to discuss Indian involvement in Chahbahar. It seems better off without that association.

India has 20 years of trying to make a port work, Pakistani ports have had their busiest month in decades.

After this conflict India will be lucky if Iran even picks up the phone....

You have gone quiet...

Commercial LPG prices have been raised. Domestic still remain the same as were before the war.

What is the price of petrol and Diesel in Pakistan?

When commercial prices are raised you do realise who bears the cost in the end? Please tell me you understand basic economics...
