India Foreign Policy Thread

Agree.. The gall of those Poles !
These Poles don't realize they are facing the emissary of a country with a "4 Trillion " economy, and per capita GDP of $2,800 - $3,000 USD ( 2025 projected)
Never mimd Poland's GDP per capita (nominal) is projected around $30,651 for 2026, while its GDP per capita (PPP) is estimated at roughly $58,559 for 2026, showing significant growth and closing the gap with EU averages, reaching 82% of the EU average in 2024. Now with such a paltry Purchasing Parity power these Poles have the nerve to lecture the indomitable "laser eyes.".

By "doing exactly the same" Mr. Jaishankar scored wonderful points off Poland and the Poles will be very willing to continue selling Nuclear reactors, boilers, gas turbines, and other mechanical and electrical equipment, a paltry $1.45 USD worth to India,

Yes, exactly, the Poles have been dishing out bad medicine to the Russians, India's strongest ally funneling 148 billion worth of weapons to Ukraine. These weapons transiting through Poland were effective enough for the Ukrainians to have killed 1.2 million Russian soldiers.

Actually Poland is very impressed with India's "liberation " of Goa, Daman and Diu, Pondicherry and Sikkim. The only ones not impressed are the citizens of Goa and Pondicherry who would have been EU citizens ( of overseas territories of Portugal and France) today . As EU citizens they would not have needed to take the Dunkey route to the EU countries.

Agree..,and even on the subject of a divine mandate the Poles come off short when compared to India. The Poles have just one god as against the proven fact of 300 million.

Agree, and likewise none of the other tiny bankrupt nations in the neighborhood can do much to India. Money is no problem. India can buy more planes as compared to Poland, even if those pesky Pakistanis can be a nuisance at times,
Remove, Tata , Mittal and Ambani, and the lofty figures you mentioned will come down to

Your opinion is already of a minority with soon to be fringe minority in your own generation. The younger generation that will replace you, were born in underbelly of Indian soft power projection.

Don't take my word for it, just visit any college or university in Karachi, Lahore or Peshawar.

The aman ki asha types were even there when I wasn't born. They have always existed. We have subdued them and they hide. It is actually they that are few in numbers and hiding in university corridors. My types are walking on the streets and ruling the roost. My types are in the military. We are the majority.

Any comments from the Indian External Affairs Minister on the snub by the Polish External Affairs Minister to the NDTV reporter when asked about "Cross Border Terrorism " ? Scroll to 1:48 in the video below,
"That's enough" says the Polish EAM 🙂
The Polish EAM thought complaining about "cross border terrorism " is selective moralizing by India considering the fact that India is in bed with the Taliban whom the Poles fought on behalf of ISAF for 20 years and 44 Polish troops were killed by the Taliban in Task Force White Eagle

Wonder what "Laser eyes " said .

Well, that is right in India's face.

Why do you keep logging onto a Pakistani forum run by Pakistanis for Pakistanis? This is a weird unwanted habit

Do you want an honest answer?

Yes, it is a weird habit but I almost never insert myself into the affairs of Pakistan or other countries. Almost all of my posts are strictly about India. I have next to no knowledge of Pakistan even though I was on good terms with many Pakistanis in US.

But I would never dare give advice.

Poland tried to give unsolicited advice to India last year regarding Russian oil.

Jaishankar did exactly the same and that too at his face. It was to show them that it’s a two way track. When you want to give knowledge then be ready to accept some too.

Jaishankar and is team would have known exactly how would the whole thing go, after his strong statement at the face of polish FM. And he didn’t seem to like the taste of that medicine.

Many European nations try to take high moral ground and think that they can get away with unwarranted moralising.

This guy is trying to again tell about colonising behaviour of Russia. What about US attempt to take over Greenland? Has anyone heard a word about that attempt to colonise?

No. Absolute silence from the same Polish FM. And no word is excepted, because many of these nations think that, they have the mandate from god to pick and choose based on their own convenience.

When Jaishankar publicly chided him, he would have known that this guy can’t do s##t to India. Next time he would need to be a little careful while giving pearls of unsolicited wisdom to India.

Well constructed argument. It was a massive overreaction and little to do with Pakistan and more to with dressing down Poland (another one of dime a dozen "countries" in Europe who never stop preaching morality unless it hurts them). Same reason India didn't care for Ukraine.

Younger generation is even more anti India. There's no Indian soft power left apart from a few hyped up bollywood trashy movies here and there.

Stark contrast from the previous gen when Indian music, cinema, serials all were common in Pakistan.

You probably haven't see Insta and discord during last May. Unlike boomers, there's no love for Indians in new generation.

India could actually had a completely different path

If India had been reasonable and decent, respected the nations around it

It could have created a united South Asia, that stood behind India representing close to 2 billion people, 2 nuclear powers and a massive area

Instead south Asia has very poor interconnectivity because no one trusts India

And everyday, India is filled with communalism and hate that makes everyone agitated

Bangladesh and India has a reasonable relationship, but years of this hindutva nonsense made the Bengalis increasingly anti Indian and distrustful, as soon as Hasina fell the entire nation was united in hatred for india

Exactly, of the clowns had acted semi-logically we could have had free trade and movement and a relationship similar to say US/Canada or Spain/Portugal

This is a snub that the Polish External Affairs Minister gave the Indian reporter when he asked about ( Pakistani) cross border terrorism. Fast forward to the 20 seconds before end of the video below.

Even their "reporters" just have no basic manners or empathy, the Polish FM just turned his back on him.. These guys have no shame or sense of self worth

"never give advice"? It is a discussion forum, what do you want us to do? Sit here in silence?

Admirable propaganda but that's just it, propaganda.

Let's start with 2000s and come up to present day:

Musharaf was prepared for turning LoC into International Border.

PPP and PMLN openly call for economic integration with India.

PTI supremo was last seen crying at the UN about love he got from India and how he knows India more than anyone else.

Last army chief wanted to Bury the hatchet with India.

All entities and groups who had a hardliners stance on India have been killed one by one, either by Indian targeted terrorism or sidelined as 'terrorists' by successive governments.

Nobody is willing to stand between 1230 and 1pm as theorised by warrior race representative to free Kashmir and even less are willing to even talk about water terrorism. What's left is social media monetary competition between 'intellectuals' of your generation.

As I said admirable propaganda but that's the extent of it.

“We also have our concerns. India’s participation in the ZAPAD exercises in Russia is something we view as threatening.”

Ouch! Imagine now getting schooled by the Poles on your own turf.

If they played their cards right, with quiet diplomacy and a few deals,, Indians could have influenced the Poles, instead they tried to humiliate them. Poles are very proud people, that was a mistake by lazer eyes....

Yes, 'That's Enough' was something!!
But @Vkdindian1 : Even in this short video, the Polish FM, while being in India, is still diplomatically lecturing India: Notice how he said 'Hope', suggesting to India that don't forget your own colonial history as you ignore Russia's neo-colonialist war on Ukraine.

PS. I believe the Poles are the most anti-Russian of all Europeans and the Polish FM is not going to deviate from that position.
