India Has Lost Air Superiority to Pakistan, No Jets Left to Fight

I regard TTP as a subsidiary of TTA, so your point is actually pointless. Moreover, I do not dispute that LOC is safe for Pakistani soldiers.

Why stop at LOC?

Indeed, Indian occupied territories in Kashmir are so safe for Pakistani soldiers that the dead ones can be respawned.

I mean sure, the word subsidiary got a ring to it.

Maybe not but DGISPR should take time off twitter discourse instead of replying to them. The one we killed was not from our side his story is open to speculation.

Yeah the ‘one you killed’ was only in Godi Media world. Probably just another poor goat herder killed by Indian army and labelled as Pakistani commando for easy medals.
This embarrassing and shameless episode should be an eye opener for Indians but I’m sure it won’t be.

Err no, after the bitch slapping he got in Sindhoor, Modi just ain’t so keen to call out Pakistan for sponsoring terror attacks as he used to be. Remember the blast in Delhi where lives were lost? Happened after Sindhoor so how come Modi and Co didn’t blame Pakistan on the same day even before investigation — which is exactly what they did with the Palagam attack??? Instead they played the whole thing down like ‘nothing to see here’. Why such a profound change of approach in such a short space of time???Now go count how many Ra-fails you got left.

The biggest issue for them even the US , Europe and Russia didn’t believe their story …

India was like : terrorist attack kaboom … see see Pakistan!

World (less terror states like Israel and Afghanistan) : naa… no cigar

That was a shock for them. With ongoing comical Godi media performance and even official claims from them since botched Sindhoor, the world is now even less open to believing anything they say.

Good post.
India does have a crucial advantage: Its much larger economy enables it to mass produce hypersonic missiles which can destroy Pakistan. But the cost Pakistan can exact as a response would be too much using Pakistan's own conventional missiles; we are not even talking about the nukes here.
Anyway, India never had 'air superiority' over Pakistan and nothing has been 'lost': They were peer air forces but Pakistan has moved ahead when it comes to the respective air forces and I only see the gap widening between the two.
Thank you.

Two points to ponder:
1. What about Indian air superiority in naval warfare ?
2. How PN can play a role in any future limited conflict like 2019 and 2025.

As I often say, I am not a military hardware person so some other can answer that. I try to get my military info from several sources--especially from the adversaries' eyes--and come to broad understanding of wars and military hardware.

very happy to concede, as previously mentioned.

now regarding air superiority, which needs to be established in every next engagement.

no, your assumption is not based on very sound assessment.

as can be observed, you (yourself) have admitted, even the presence of air superiority led to firing very expensive missiles(from our/your perspective only!, gutted to say this!)

The firing of the missiles was going up the escalation ladder because they lost badly early on, that's not a good thing ,if you reverse the situation and paf lost jets India would not resort to missiles early, maybe Pakistan would

That's actually concerning overall, because Pakistan did tooooo well in the early exchanges, compelling escalation

and Pakistan could have gotten it's missiles out and taken targets out, especially after taking the s400 out

But at that point it made sense to stop because missiles flying around with nuclear uncertainty is waaay risky

Having won the air battle so well, taken s400 and India took out runways and hit nur khan etc it felt a good time to call it quits before it got crazy, Trump is not wrong in what he says

I am not sure if Trump intervened or not--maybe he gave the finishing touch because both Pakistan and India wanted to de-escalate. IIRC, one morning Dawn.com reported that Pakistan had called an urgent meeting of Pakistan's Strategic Command Division, which is for the nukes. The Indians had escalated too much by using their Brahmos missiles; Pakistan was at a disadvantage there but started to look for drastic options to stop India. That kind of situation can arise again.

Its alright.

What you need to consider is the use of drones. Can navies deploy and utilize drones over coastal areas, not just for maritime surveillance. Primarily, pushing those drones from the sea inwards towards land targets. Same for missiles. Instead of using aircraft or TELs to launch them, could they be launched from the sea next time.

Consider that runways can be hit, which can hamper flights. TELs also travel on paved roads, hardly venture into the middle of the desert or top of the mountains. But the sea is vast and open

That opens up a new angle of attack, from the sea.

All I can say about the drones: Nothing will be safe in this world. No country. No airports. And that future is not far away.

i don't doubt our naval capabilities in employing such drone warfares.
Not having an aircraft carrier is no biggie.
Last option when shit hits the fan will be the missiles, if not launched then it would be big trouble.

how can we even be certain that the next one will just be a small 'skirmish' and not a big final war?
