India Has Lost Air Superiority to Pakistan, No Jets Left to Fight

Pakistan had not used its potent missiles against India-

And that's why everyone agreed to calm down, with Pakistan strategic posturing post missile attacks, what next?

India's losses for me are losing air battle DECISIVELY, following a prior loss last time around, and then having to escalate they accepted the trump announcement, if the USA is not party to the conflict why engage?

They and probably everyone involved didn't have the appetite to see what was next and let's be sane, that's preferable, what was at stake?

It's no wonder a rocket force was announced immediately after, clearly implying to India next time round the missile game will be different and if they perceived the upper hand it was momentary, no long term gain and serves as acceleration of known areas to patch up
That's why many Indians will talk about the psychological barrier they overcame, they I suppose made a temporary point to themselves that they can and will escalate which is also a point to Pakistan

Pakistan inducting the hangor class subs gives India a new worry on the sea, and they have satellite launches aimed at watching India as well, when we look at net projection it's an interesting picture

The persisting images from Sindoor will not be of the jets wrekage but the destoryed cieling of Markaz e Tayeba or whatever the name was, of Nur Khan and Bholari's damaged hangar.

Sounds memorable clearly, but not seen any images since
but I would give away 3-4 jets every time to see the kind of terrorist infrastructure destruction that was done during the operation..

That's nuts, you took out a mosque,or a building, not to encourage that but Pakistan would take that exchange ratio all day long

And then you switch to more strategic conventional targets, that's not terrorist infra, unless you insist it is, better to pick one narrative, everyone just considers it a skirmish anyway, the triggering event is glossed over and unaccepted globally per your narrative.
That's another loss, your narrative dominance diminished

Yes, good point about Pakistan's Rocket Force!

I mean..., this clown is so f#*kin' obvious.

The Mods know that. We know that. Even the regular Indian Members know that.

But challo, it no big deal.

The World makes fun of 'em & treats 'em like the 💩 they are ...

Its only fair that we get to do the same to 'em on OUR Forum.

and this is exactly why next time they need to finish the job and not do any shitty ceasefires

Yaar, though I agree with you but there were/are bigger things at play.

Today where we stand (atleast in the International community), is all because we played the game - smart.

I don't want to put out clips & posts about what its been like for our neighbors since May last year.

From an Indian perspective, it can be said that Pakistan going after Indian jets is an extremely risky step, one which IAF didn't think PAF will take... (I think we can agree that you can fire the first bullet but don't control the escalation - whether its India or Pakistan)

I thought I shouldn't respond to that but... Are you serious? Indian fighter jets coming to Pakistan's border to drop bombs into Pakistan and Pakistan wouldn't respond? It was not just in May 2025, Pakistan had shot down an Indian fighter jet coming to Pakistan in 2019 and IIRC also during the Kargil War (1999).

theyre delusional and think that they can make a problem go away by denying it enough times. They got SHIT standards

Not my thinking but IAFs and they made a BLUNDER... That is at least what the top brass are saying and they are a disciplined force... so ROE were not set right

Where both of us differ though is the larger point - for billions of Indians, loosing 3-4 jets vs. bombing very center of Pakistan is a price they will pay everyday and twice on a Sunday - as long as its in retaliation of a terrorist attack.

Pakistan's view here on the forum is different - that loosing few jets was costlier than getting Pakistan's sovereignty violated - in a pretty graphic fashion. I don't see what calculus Pakistanis are making but to each their own...

On other aspects e.g., what the world thinks - we don't have any definitive data but only vibes and we can pick our own evidence to back our claims. But objectively, India established new red lines - that much is indisputable and what Pakistan wants to "assume"/"believe" is that those red lines will be maintained. IWT is under suspension, Operation Sindoor is not complete (only halted or whatever the word used is)...

Pakistan assuming that India wouldn't retaliate with Brahmos and other stand off weapons was as stupid as Indians thinking PAF won't attack its jets (and the rules of engagement based on that assumption)

On the perception war: IMO, journalists visiting bombed out terrorists hide-outs, people in streets shouting AHA soon after the missile strikes, runways cratered and shown to the entire world paint a much more damning picture than wreckage of 2-3 jets littered across a vast landscape. The persisting images from Sindoor will not be of the jets wrekage but the destoryed cieling of Markaz e Tayeba or whatever the name was, of Nur Khan and Bholari's damaged hangar. That is just how most people view it. OBviously Pakistanis will view it very differently and they are entitled to it but I would give away 3-4 jets every time to see the kind of terrorist infrastructure destruction that was done during the operation... albeit has to be in response of an attack and not pre-emptive as we see from US and a few other countries

Entitled to our opinion? ..

- hanger destroyed? .. who denied it ? … you think we don’t know to rebuild hangers ? ..

- India claimed 20% of PAF combat strength was destroyed. I think you people should not be entitled to any thing

free tip most of Pakistan combat jets are housed in hardened shelters.. and they are disbursed the moment missiles are launched. PAF has ability to launch large number of planes in a very short time. This is what happened during the missile attacks.

You can say what you like.. but no body on planet earth believes the Indian narrative… but some how you think you can come post your modi gov. Nonsense and think you can convince us other wise..

100% for effort.

India stated the operation tandoori has been paused .. when will it be unpaused?

Your air force wouldn't, stop the spin

You lost your prestige new fighter jet, you gloss over that, tbh if Rafael's didn't get taken down you could argue this more, you lost the jet that was meant to decisively protect your nation, if nation is happy they should not be

And how might your air force feel

Why so angry... Are you another fool absolutist who's gonna stand behind statements like: "but no body on planet earth believes the Indian narrative" - like you can attest to state of mind of every individual - kahan kahan se aa jaate hain yaar...

As I said, Pakistan can have their own narrative and India its own - both of us can cherry pick evidence for the "broader" world - there is no definitive answer. Only definitive answer comes, when the country concedes like Pakistan did in 1971 and to an extent in 1999. Rest we can keep throwing videos/articles at each other...

Also what narrative will come out on top will be known/firmed up in next 4-5 years when things settle down and people's memories start to fade...

Archetype confirmed

There is no narrative, just whatever anyone wants to say, but still let's argue the narrative lol

And if Indian narrative took hold Pakistan would be condemned and isolated from USA, Europe

There are objective truths you will have to man up and face

And I guess your sovereignty wasn't violated in the most graphical form either with multiple rafails and other jets littering your countryside, not to mention targets inside your country attacked according to your own military and your airforce grounded for 2 days?! You parjeets also claimed there wouldn't be a "terrorist" attack after 2019 and 2016 either. What did you guys do after the delhi blasts other than your usual barking? There's **** all red line...there'll be continued jihadi attacks in IoK, and if anything, it's Pakistan that has established a red line...your air force is restricted to operating 200km from the border, reduced to bomb trucks and lobbing SOWs

India got publicly humilated on a global stage by losing 8 150M big beautiful planes...reminded by Trump every time.

yes no body believed India's story... from US congress report , to western defense analyst to the world at large..

I have yet to see any one having a different view

India lost ... big time.
