India Lucky Not To Lose More Than Four Rafales

I think we were unlucky not to have shot down those other 4. Sometimes you have to make your own luck.

If the claim is true, that we had total dominance, and we didn't take advantage, it's criminal, treacherous even. If we genuinely had grounded their entire airforce and did not take advantage of that to liberate Kashmir or to decimate their armed forces - we lost this war not them.

It's a bit ridiculous when you were claiming 3 Rafales to suddenly adding a another 2 months later.

Think information was being withheld due to being managed for reasons of escalation and 'restraint'. "Truth will out" as they say, truth always breaks free and finds its way out.

Alan Warnes can't be doubted on the fact that he talked to Air Chief as the kind of access this guy has in PAF is unprecedented. So now the question is what proof PAF has of 4 Rafales. 3 Rafales we all know now where did this claim of fourth Rafale came from. Despite being a Pakistan I would like to see the proof of it.

Take it as it pleases you. PAF’s official claim is 6 shot down
Could be the Heron drone kill is now replaced with Rafale since it was a SAM engagement so total would still be 6, lets wait and see.

Agreed, Warnes post 2019 write up was absolutely spot on, confirmed MIG-21, doubted SU-30 and explained role of Erieye and D20.

Certain that his write up of 2025 will be definative, will be interesting to read his opinion of CAS's 4 Rafale claim and how genuine he thinks it is

Remember all the aircraft were shotdown over Indian side at BVR distances and at night .... we are not Indians that can see an AWACS through a small hole in the hangar lol .... All the Data, radar signatures, radio intercepts would have been scrutinised and above all the satellite Imagery would have been throughly analysed before making the claim and I'm also sure would have also been shared with Alan Warnes.

The problem about these claims is that it's idiotic just increase your claims of downed aircraft months after the battle took place and especially not without evidence and without admission from the other side, it's just hurts the PAF's credibility nothing else.

Very true, but remember this is a journo reporting it in a tweet, we need some context, if the PAF gives none then I agree, we are hurting a hard one reputation for integrity, but lket us wait and see

@Fatman17 is usually good on getting AFM quickly when it is out, think Aug issue may be due out today

There is a reason why the cocky and arrogant Indians reacted in a subdued and demoralised manner after the whole ordeal. Very unlike the Indians as we know. There is also a reason why their top brass were very reluctant to talk about losses.

We've yet to see a High Resolution Sat Imagery of supposedly damage done to IAF assets and bases and my guy Siddhu Moselwala throwing out random numbers; "yeah we could have shot down X number of aircraft but we didn't, what about it"
I think Alan Warnes is in a much better position than us the armchair generals and has his reputation at stake to post this without confirmation.
