India Lucky Not To Lose More Than Four Rafales

I did the shifting windy - that main section is for India or other south asian socio economic issues - not military discussions.

Then it was based on a tweet so when there is already a thread running with everyone’s focus and attention it was best to merge there.

Why make a new thread when there is already one running with everyone’s attention? You’ll get five comments then everyone comes back to the main one where someone will post it there anyway. Better to surface it where you face traffic
Dear, I have no issue with the thread shifting or locked, if it's inappropriate or posted in the wrong section then it should be ideally addressed, but the gentleman often hounds me whenever I open a thread. Obviously everything can't be expected straight from the horse's mouth.
Practice has been to give a source . There was a time we mostly used print media as the link but these days as you know its social media which is more active than any other source . Agreed its not totally reliable there's lot of AI and TRP targets out there but then again in context of India/Pakistan, one can't always rely on WSJ, Guardian or Independent. At the end of the day, this forum is also a part of social media .
Regards .

Yeap, zero input, yet itchy fingers running thousand miles an hour. Some new dude on the block.
He's not new dear, just more active than other MODS.
Anyways leave it at that dude
It's all good .

You really have some issues with my threads don't you
Either it's in the wrong section or wrong source or something else.
You seem only busy in shifting posts closing threads or complaining
Do I have the power to make a thread sticky or whatever .

To be fair he can be like this with me, he is not singling you out. No one likes their threads merged closed but there has to be a balance, often we have 3-4 threads on the same topic.

"When I stated it, no one in the forum believed it. I very clearly stated that no Rafale was shot down. But 2 of them did have splinter hits. One was restored to flight Ops the very next day. Now the world is relaying what I had told. Lot of people believed the lies of PAF and the deep fake generated by Chinese. Please understand, in a war deception and narrative makes a lot of difference. The tactical mistake done by IAF on early morning of 7th May was to use Hammers instead of Scalp for hitting targets close to the border. This put Rafales in the harms way and they got attacked by nearly every fighter airborne at that time of PAF. They did a good job in evading the incoming missiles but lack of Metoer as an offensive weapon plus the mistake of using Hammer to strike targets, caused this. Max number of PL-15s were fired on Rafale formations. IAF then learnt the lessons and used Rafale for deep strike missions using scalp which delivered unprecendented accuracy. Kirana was hit by a Scalp.
I had at that time told you that scalp is a very costly weapon while Rampage used by Jags was far far cheaper and yet as effective. I also told you that IAF will go in for more Rafale. I was opposed by my friends from France.
Do you the the silverline of this tactical mistake of IAF? PAF fighters in order to shoot down Rafale came very close the borders of India which brought them within the range of our LRSAM and S-400. That is how we shot down 5 of their fighters using SAMs. So Rafale may have had gone into harms way but was effective as a bait."

Here he is! He is back, with new and improved bulls**t.

I don't see how that Rafale in the fields of Bathinda is going to be restored.
