India Lucky Not To Lose More Than Four Rafales

Still they are struggling just to meet the PL-15 parameters? Strange huh?
And yet there is PL-16, a totally new and advanced tech in the same size envelope of PL-15.
I am not going to discuss PL-17 or PL-21 (PL-XX). 😉
PL-15 has nothing impressiv.
classical powder engine
230kg (heavy for the perf)
classical RF seeker.

PL-16 is to PL-15 what the MICA NG is to MICA and what AIM260 is to AIM160.
PL-17 or others : europe and USA already have plans to create and built advanced AtoA missiles. Nothing new under the sun.

Someone said PL-15 and other Chinese missiles have more range and Indian troll very mockingly said that Chinese tech was very poor, copy paste bla bla and that "China was just putting more and more motor fuel inside missiles instead of electronics".
but PL-15 has nothing impressiv. 230 kg for less range than the 165kg Meteor is all but impressiv.
no one knows here how many of these missiles were fired to Rafale, and even if the grounded Rafale was fired by one of them...

But what was sure is that PAF deseappear of the sky after day one. Short of missile? Meteor on the way ?

PL-15 "nothing impreessive"

Strange, few posts earlier you were jumping up and down about copying the seeker head and sharing it with the US.

PL-15 is nothing impressive but beat Electra EW suite. Gosh what does that say about Electra?

fortunately for your arse, they were not used in day one.

But as PAF totally deseappear of the sky day 2 and 3, it probably has been mounted on Rafale my dear stud.

and you know this how? Lemme guess, "trust me brow"

Wasn't there a french media report last week that no Rafale was lost and that one was hit but managed to fly back with some damage? Any idea which outfit reported it and its reputation?
I've seen no such news. You remember the name of the media ?

I've post a message of a previous Harrier indian pilot explaining that one Rafale was so damaged that it will be used for spares and another just slightly damaged and restored.

It's difficult (but not impossible) to imagine a jet losing the after burner part of one engine returning safely to base.... But we already have seen a F15 coming back with a big part of a wing less, so not totally impossible.
