The initial deal with germany was 50/50 between Airbus and Dassault.
Then Germany wanted Spain to come in. It brings an imbalance because Spain arrived with Airbus, so Dassault who was clearly designated as the architect at the beginning only have 33%.
Airbus didn't want to evolve even if the know how is in the Dassault hands. Dassault refused to share the leading role, even with french president pressures.
The German are now without any good solution : they don't have the knowledge to developp from scratch a modern fighter. CGAP will only let them some poor work share as the balance has already be made between UK, Italy, Japan. SAAB.... no way (they want the same clear leadership on a common developpment than Dassault !). Their future is to produce in Germany F-35 and F-47, without any technology share.

India is the best partner for France. A big market, a technological level not big enough to compete with Dassault, Safran, Thales abour the leading of the project. Affordable manpower to produce economically. 50% work share, or more, in India is realist.
