Procuring, maintaining, and expanding what is effectively a trophy fleet-in-being is, historically proven, a relatively innocuous investment for all parties involved. Great for showing the flag, goodwill visits, anything short of actually countering anybody. That would be called building an actual A2AD capability.

I approve of this course of action. Factually speaking, Indian surface combatants are the spiritual successors of Soviet naval doctrines and fleet specialisation, as in BRKs and BNKs as opposed to general-purpose guided missile destroyers, and the Indian Navy, the ever-generous benefactor, is paying out of its own pocket for this magnificent "what-if" scenario experiment.

Still, given that Indian naval infrastructure is within littoral reach of Pakistani shores, perhaps the development for and against unmanned vessels/tactics is in order.

I remember Indians proudly saying that Chinese people fail English, so how do they commit fraud in the U.S.? I believe Americans receive too many English scams with Indian accents.

We are not at all worried about unemployment because my wish is to buy a robot to do my work. In about five years, household robots will become popular in China. It is hard for me to imagine how 1.4 billion people in India will work without complete industries and factories.

I think it is baseless debate , nobody knows ai wil bring fortune or disaster .
If human becomes replaceable, there will be no meaning purpose for human life.
U said u wanna purchase a working robot, that too will also replace a maid/servant job. In the end someone is going to loose job to ai .

It will be very tough for Pakistan to match India and it will require out of box strategy. Pakistan is little behind in building replacements for F-22P.

Pakistan needs to increase the production of Babur‑class (PN MILGEM) and design New indigenous Corvette based on MILGEM‑G / TF‑100 concepts.

Total: 14–16 corvettes, plus 12–16 FACs and 6–8 OPVs.

You can not compete with a 200 ship Navy that is mix of aircraft carrier, destroyers, converts, ASW ships etc... what you need is cost effective and asymmetrical ways along with some heavy punch.

So a major focus on

1. Suicide drones USVs, alot of them
2. Speed boats with cruise missiles, alot of them . Like 100
3. 8-10 ships with 64 VLS ,in 4500-5000 tonnage.
4. Submarine force needs to be expanded to 20. A mix of small and medium tonnage.
5. Coastal Anti-ship batteries with 1000 km hypersonic (and super and subsonic) anti-ship missiles


Jinnah and babur will carry what ? 16 SAMs ? That is for defence only. What about attack ? They only have 6-8 cruise missiles. A single India frigate will have 40+ SAMs to counter those 6-8 cruise missiles.


But even if we do all of this, still we can not prevent a blockade from Indian navy that is set 1000 km away from our coast. These things are only going to make it somewhat expensive for India and that's it. A 1000 km coastline country can not compete with a 11000 km coastline country that have 10 times of the economy.

Luckily we are already focusing on right track. 2030s will be the time when Pakistan will have a significant advantage in one core area of naval warfare that is submarine domain. Will have 11 AIP submarines. These vastly outperform the non AIP ones. The lethality of submarine is in its covert / undetectability. Its very unlikely to find a submarine at depth of several hundred meters. The AIP can keep submarine submerged for upto weeks. While a non AIP has to surface and has to snorkel. That is where submarine is detectable by airplanes and other sensors.

Also remember most of indian submarines are over 30 years old. So they have to actually phase out many while we are adding AIP subs. Indian surface fleet no matter how big will face real challenge to operate against lethal submarine fleet of Pakistan. Plus note, we are also looking into 500 to 1000 tonnage subs too.

So we are at right track given our financial constraints.

I can't imagine that the profession of servants still exists in India. If we need to create a profession just for doing laundry and sweeping the floor, I think we don't really need it. We have already used many robotic vacuum cleaners for a long time.

When the world's first car appeared, carriage drivers protested. Times always move forward. No one can stop the development of technology. When a profession disappears, it means new industries will create new jobs. What matters is whether your country's government has policies to support people's retraining and the creation of new job opportunities.
