Every action and negotiation from this point onwards is face saving for Modi. India cannot pretend that it will be entering negotiations with the US by flexing muscles.

India doesn’t need to follow any other nation. We can decide how we want to respond.
If India replicates any other country, kids start shouting copycat. Does its own thing - Kids are still unhappy. India is not in the business of making forum members happy.
As far as negotiations are concerned, they aren't something new that started today. They were ongoing and would continue.
The hurt is because, many people were expecting Delhi to fold.

Modi and his RSS hindu terrorist gang needs to be extremely careful and start to look around their shoulders. Every country worth its salt got its deep state, which is basically a mafia, glued together due to monetary reasons and to some extent ideological. But when, specially in third world countries like India, the pocket start to take the hit, ideologies goes out of the window.
