The DRDO Netra isn't good enough and the Phalcons are ageing too. These systems would be very relevant a decade back, but not anymore. IAF planners are lacking foresight in this regard. During red flag exercises, there were instances of blue on blue events when the IAF participated in LFEs. This was because of lack of commonality in IAF strike packages. IAF does operate a few Gulfstream 550 jets modified by IAI for EW/ELINT, but their capabilities are not well known. Given that 4 PL-15s were recovered fully intact during the may 2025 conflict, one can assume that either the Rafales' SPECTRA or some other system worked.

The IAF Chief is sitting with a clipboard in his hand to score the pilots like a headmaster does for his pupils! What's next? Getting a rod to spank them!!
